評(píng)價(jià)性詞語的語義生成:自然語義元法

評(píng)價(jià)性詞語在人們?nèi)粘=涣髦惺褂檬诸l繁,它表示個(gè)人對(duì)某人行為或態(tài)度,以及對(duì)某個(gè)事物或情況的評(píng)價(jià)。自然語義元法指出,每一個(gè)社會(huì)都有一些能夠?yàn)槿粘I钐峁﹥r(jià)值導(dǎo)向并對(duì)人們的判斷和行為進(jìn)行指導(dǎo)的評(píng)價(jià)性詞語。很多學(xué)者都對(duì)評(píng)價(jià)性詞語進(jìn)行過探討和研究,對(duì)評(píng)價(jià)性詞語的定義也各有不同。本文把評(píng)價(jià)性詞語定義為:說話者對(duì)一個(gè)人的行為或態(tài)度,一個(gè)事物或者某種情況的客觀性評(píng)價(jià),這種評(píng)價(jià)是積極的評(píng)價(jià),并且能夠代表受評(píng)價(jià)人或事的主要特點(diǎn)。由于評(píng)價(jià)詞語使用數(shù)量之多,本文通過對(duì)美國人進(jìn)行訪談和問卷的方式,確定了五個(gè)最具典型的評(píng)價(jià)性詞語。它們是:beautiful, wonderful, amazing, cool和fantastic。本文試圖通過語用化來解釋評(píng)價(jià)性詞語的語義生成過程:一個(gè)詞語最初的語義會(huì)在不同的語境中產(chǎn)生新的語用義,當(dāng)新的語用義被人們所接受并廣泛使用時(shí),它就會(huì)產(chǎn)生新的語義并最終收錄于字典中,形成字典義。本文在以通過大量美國電視節(jié)目和電影建立的語料庫基礎(chǔ)之上,運(yùn)用自然語義元對(duì)每個(gè)評(píng)價(jià)性詞語做出了相關(guān)的語義解釋。從這些分析出的含義和解釋中,我們可以清楚的辨析這些評(píng)價(jià)性詞語之間存在的細(xì)微差別。通過牛津英語字...
