語篇連貫分析一直是語言學領域研究中的重點。以框架語義學的理論為指導,本文舉例闡明Halliday和Hasan的四種語法手段如照應、替代、省略和連接無法從語言層面上解釋某些語篇連貫現(xiàn)象,需要在認知層面上尋找答案�？蚣苷Z義學認為語篇中的詞語代表了人類經(jīng)驗的概念化,它為人類理解整個語篇提供了背景知識,通過將詞匯意義與背景知識的融合,最后語篇可以在認知層面上取得意義連貫。本文試圖從認知角度來彌補其他語篇連貫理論的不足,并為今后從認知層面上研究語篇連貫提供借鑒。
