隱喻的研究源遠流長,兩千多年來一直受到語言學者的關注。傳統(tǒng)上,隱喻被認為是一種用來裝飾語言的修辭手段�，F(xiàn)代隱喻研究認為,隱喻本質(zhì)上是通過一種事物來理解和體驗另一種事物。隱喻普遍存在于我們的生活當中,除了存在于語言中它還普遍存在于我們的思維和行為之中。雖然隱喻無處不在,但由于它同人類的經(jīng)驗緊密相關,而經(jīng)驗又具有文化特殊性,所以隱喻也在某種程度上反映了特定語言群體的文化積累。在跨文化交際日益盛的今天,有必要對來自不同文化背景的隱喻進行系統(tǒng)的對比分析。習語是一種特殊的語言表達形式,它承載著大量歷史、民族心理、自然環(huán)境等方面的文化信息,是語言與文化相互交融的精華所在。因此,對比研究不同民族習語當中的隱喻有著相當重要的價值。本文以萊考夫和約翰遜的概念隱喻理論為依據(jù),對英漢兩種語言當中表達情感的習語進行了比較系統(tǒng)的對比研究。作者首先對國內(nèi)外的隱喻研究和習語研究進行了簡要的梳理和總結,其次作者從認知的角度總結隱喻的主要特點,映射模式和工作機制及其語言,文化和隱喻之間的關系進行了較為全面的探討和闡釋。論文的主體部分通過列舉豐富的語料,考察了英漢兩種語言習語中的隱喻。作者通過嘗試對英漢情感習語中的隱喻的...
