本文命名為《日常話(huà)語(yǔ)中語(yǔ)用曲解現(xiàn)象新研究》,其“新”主要體現(xiàn)四個(gè)方面。其一,作者在批判性閱讀前人關(guān)于曲解現(xiàn)象的研究文獻(xiàn)過(guò)程中,深感過(guò)去術(shù)語(yǔ)之不統(tǒng)一、爭(zhēng)議之處頗多,從而重新界定了這一言語(yǔ)現(xiàn)象,首次提出“語(yǔ)用曲解”這一術(shù)語(yǔ),并詳盡地論述了其必要性和實(shí)用性。其二,作者在綜合分析Halliday的語(yǔ)域理論和Verschueren的順應(yīng)理論的基礎(chǔ)上,提出了“語(yǔ)域順應(yīng)”的新概念。第三,本文突破過(guò)去對(duì)語(yǔ)用曲解這一普遍交際策略的功能論說(shuō),在語(yǔ)域理論和順應(yīng)理論框架內(nèi),闡釋了語(yǔ)用曲解使用的限制條件,并指出,通過(guò)語(yǔ)域順應(yīng),能對(duì)功能失當(dāng)語(yǔ)用曲解進(jìn)行修補(bǔ)。第四,本文深入地探討了產(chǎn)生曲解的心理因素,挖掘了生成語(yǔ)用曲解的心理機(jī)制。這三點(diǎn)正是本文的獨(dú)創(chuàng)之處,也是本文的主體內(nèi)容。首先,本文認(rèn)為過(guò)去關(guān)于語(yǔ)用曲解這一語(yǔ)言交際現(xiàn)象研究的相關(guān)術(shù)語(yǔ),如假裝的理解失�。‵isher,1987）、有計(jì)劃的誤解（Weigand,1999）、非標(biāo)準(zhǔn)誤解（Dascal,1999）、有意的誤解（Tzanne,2000）等等,都難以區(qū)別曲解現(xiàn)象與誤解的差別。至于影響深遠(yuǎn)的“刻意曲解”（deliberate misinterpretation）...
