大學(xué)校訓(xùn)是有趣而重要的語(yǔ)言現(xiàn)象,但在學(xué)界沒有引起足夠的重視。以往對(duì)校訓(xùn)的研究多從教育學(xué)角度出發(fā),研究其意義和功能,極少有學(xué)者用主要語(yǔ)言學(xué)理論對(duì)其進(jìn)行研究。本文試圖彌補(bǔ)這一空白。對(duì)于中國(guó)大學(xué)校訓(xùn),無論是學(xué)界還是社會(huì)都是貶多褒少。主要是由于大多數(shù)校訓(xùn)語(yǔ)言句式單一,重復(fù)過多而導(dǎo)致千篇一律,以至于沒有自己的特點(diǎn),最終流于形式,沒能起到應(yīng)有的作用。然而,以往這些研究對(duì)現(xiàn)狀抱怨的多,能提供真正有效的解決辦法的卻很少。一些沒有合適理論支持的零星想法很難有效地解決實(shí)際問題。從模因論角度看,大學(xué)校訓(xùn)作為一種模因,完全可能得到廣泛復(fù)制和傳播。這就要求校訓(xùn)制定者要有很強(qiáng)的語(yǔ)用策劃能力,根據(jù)模因論的要求制定出成功且強(qiáng)勢(shì)的校訓(xùn),從而使其一方面起到育人的作用,另一方面則為外界甚至外國(guó)了解中國(guó)的大學(xué)精神提供便捷有效的途徑。本文從模因論和突顯論整合出一個(gè)“模因-突顯模型”（Meme-Salience Model,MSM）,為中國(guó)大學(xué)校訓(xùn)提供判斷標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和理論支撐。在MSM框架下,本文從語(yǔ)音,語(yǔ)義和句法三方面分析了486條中國(guó)大學(xué)校訓(xùn),總結(jié)了各層面的成功和不足,并為不足之處提供了解決辦法,從而為校訓(xùn)制定者提供理論支持,以期...
