英漢求職信語篇人際意義對比研究

人際意義是語言學(xué)研究中的一個重要課題。“人際意義”這個術(shù)語出自韓禮德的系統(tǒng)功能語法,是指建立和保持人際關(guān)系的功能。近年來,對特定語篇的人際意義進行研究相當(dāng)普遍和流行,由于不同的社會環(huán)境和文化因素,人際意義的實現(xiàn)方式也不盡相同,本文的寫作目的正是為了對比分析中英文在人際意義實現(xiàn)方式上的異同。運用韓禮德的系統(tǒng)功能語法、馬丁的評價理論和李戰(zhàn)子實現(xiàn)人際意義的理論框架,從語氣、情態(tài)、時態(tài)、人稱和評價系統(tǒng)幾個方面,對30篇英語求職信和30篇漢語求職信從人際意義角度展開對比分析。為了確保研究的可靠性和有效性,本文運用定性和定量的研究方法,探討了英漢求職信中人際意義的各種實現(xiàn)方式的異同點,從而對求職信的教授和撰寫提供一些有益啟示。通過分析和討論,筆者發(fā)現(xiàn)中英文求職信中存在著異同點。主要的相似點有:(1)英漢求職信中的大部分語句使用的是表述性語氣;(2)使用祈使句都是為了表達對面試機會的渴望,從而喚起讀者的共鳴;(3)英漢求職信中都使用低中情態(tài)動詞來表達禮貌和勸說的語氣;(4)多數(shù)句子使用的是一般現(xiàn)在時和一般將來時;(5)第一人稱占據(jù)主要地位;(6)大量使用積極的鑒賞性語言;(7)廣泛使用強勢語言。不同...
