　　Lakoff&Johnson于1980年發(fā)表了專著《我們賴以生存的隱喻》,該書用一種全新的視角從認(rèn)知語言學(xué)的角度闡釋隱喻,指出隱喻不只是一種修辭手段,更是一種思維方式。隱喻的本質(zhì)是用人們熟悉的,具體的事物去理解不熟悉的,抽象的事物。人類沒有感知時(shí)間的器官,因此對于時(shí)間的理解我們要借助隱喻。本文作者主要從時(shí)間是圖形或幾何體,時(shí)間是方向,時(shí)間是容器,時(shí)間是人以及關(guān)于時(shí)間的新奇隱喻五個(gè)方面對人們的時(shí)間概念以及語言的實(shí)現(xiàn)手段和方式進(jìn)行跨語言,跨文化的研究。本文以認(rèn)知語言學(xué)的概念隱喻理論為理論依據(jù)和框架,對于英漢兩種語言中的時(shí)間概念及其表達(dá)進(jìn)行對比分析研究。為了進(jìn)一步加深對中英時(shí)間概念的理解,豐富隱喻的認(rèn)知研究,促進(jìn)外語教學(xué)和對外漢語教學(xué)的發(fā)展,作者將從以下三個(gè)方面進(jìn)行研究和考察:1.英漢語言時(shí)間概念有哪些相似性和差異性?2.英漢語言時(shí)間概念的實(shí)現(xiàn)手段有哪些相似性和差異性?3.差異性和相似性的理據(jù)是什么?針對研究問題,作者從北京大學(xué)中國語言研究中心語料庫（Central for Chinese Linguistics PKU）、英國國家語料庫（British National Corpu...
