《中國日報》是我國對外傳播的重要媒介手段,其頭版新聞是該報價值和行文風格的集中體現(xiàn),其相關(guān)研究意義深遠。結(jié)合語言學和新聞學的相關(guān)理論,本論文對《中國日報》頭版新聞在標題、導語和正文三個部分所呈現(xiàn)的文體特征進行語用分析。為了確保研究的信度和效度,本文以2010年3月1日改版后的《中國日報》頭版新聞作為語料庫,選取3月至8月間共600篇文章,運用Microsoft Word和SPSS等工具,采取定量和定性相結(jié)合的研究方法分析這些新聞語篇的語用文體效果。本研究主體分為三部分。第一部分回顧新聞英語和《中國日報》的相關(guān)研究,并引出語用文體學理論；第二部分針對《中國日報》頭版新聞標題、導語、和正文的文體特征進行定量分析。標題因其對整個新聞語篇具有提綱挈領(lǐng)和吸引讀者的語用功能,其句式、遣詞、省略等方面的特點毫無疑問成為研究重點。導語的作用在于快速報道新聞內(nèi)容,突出重點,這就決定了導語結(jié)構(gòu)、句型、主語的選擇。正文要為新聞提供背景材料和直接證據(jù)來保證其真實性和可讀性,引語、語篇銜接模式和背景材料的插入方式自然成為值得探討的文體標記；第三部分從新聞寫作和語言學的角度對這些文體特征進行語用分析,指出該報頭版...
