　　60年代末到70年代初,在歐美國家中興起了婦女解放運(yùn)動,這股女權(quán)運(yùn)動的浪潮也波及到語言學(xué),極大地推動了語言學(xué)家對性別問題的進(jìn)一步研究。隨著女權(quán)運(yùn)動的興起,社會語言學(xué)的發(fā)展,語言與性別關(guān)系問題進(jìn)一步引起了人們的關(guān)注。在前人的研究中,語言與性別的研究主要集中在兩個方面：一是男女話語風(fēng)格的差異,及不同性別的表達(dá)方式有所不同；另一個則是詞匯對性別問題的反映,對于男女角色有不同的稱謂。本文通過總結(jié)性別與語言關(guān)系相關(guān)的研究成果,介紹并引述了國內(nèi)外相關(guān)內(nèi)容,闡釋了性別歧視,女權(quán)運(yùn)動,性別詞匯等概念,運(yùn)用SPSS和EXCEL等軟件,并結(jié)合美國《時代周刊》雜志語料庫中提取的數(shù)據(jù),運(yùn)用定性分析和定量分析相結(jié)合的方法,分析男女性別詞匯的運(yùn)用差異,并通過分析解讀其不同的原因及發(fā)展的趨勢。本文旨在通過對同一年代不同性別詞匯的使用頻度,及不同年代同一性別的詞匯使用頻度,對表示性別的詞匯進(jìn)行量化分析。以此數(shù)據(jù)為基礎(chǔ)對語言的性別問題在歷時與共時角度進(jìn)行定性分析,得出結(jié)論。前人在這個領(lǐng)域做過諸多研究,作者僅求通過可信數(shù)據(jù)的量化分析來印證之前的結(jié)論,并從數(shù)據(jù)分析中發(fā)現(xiàn)新的問題,從而能有助于后續(xù)的語言研究。
