到目前為止,語言學(xué)界對“嘛”的釋義存在重大分歧,對“X嘛?”構(gòu)式持有錯誤、混用、默認三種說法,更未見對此構(gòu)式的詳細論述和語料分析。本文結(jié)合Michaelis的離心壓制觀,Goldberg的構(gòu)式壓制觀,Panther & Thornburg的詞匯壓制觀,Taylor的粘合壓制觀提出“構(gòu)式與詞匯的互動壓制模型”。本文還分別從北京大學(xué)漢語語言學(xué)研究中心語料庫、新華網(wǎng)標(biāo)題、光明日報網(wǎng)收集“X嘛?”語料516條,并運用這一模型分析其豐富的句法、語義、語用特征。出于人類使用和識解語言的需要,在抽象構(gòu)式與填充詞匯的結(jié)合過程中,壓制現(xiàn)象具有普適性。本文提出的構(gòu)式詞匯互動壓制模型可用于解釋“X嘛?”構(gòu)式。問句構(gòu)式與句尾語氣助詞或代詞“嘛”的關(guān)系促使雙方產(chǎn)生互動壓制,進而形成句法、語義和語用上的多樣性。通過分析,我們發(fā)現(xiàn):“嘛”產(chǎn)生于北宋,有語氣助詞和代詞之分,按照這一標(biāo)準(zhǔn),“X嘛?”構(gòu)式可分為普通“X嘛?”構(gòu)式和“X（干）嘛?”構(gòu)式。按照疑問程度分類,“X嘛?”構(gòu)式構(gòu)成了一個強式疑問句、弱式疑問句、反問句連續(xù)統(tǒng)。通過構(gòu)式詞匯互動壓制模型對“X嘛?”構(gòu)式進行分析,可得出如下結(jié)論:的意義會通過互動來...
