【摘要】： 本文從語言順應論角度出發(fā),對記者招待會中口譯員的角色做了一個初步研究。目前,中西方口譯研究都具有跨學科研究的趨勢,各種學科組合研究層出不窮。語言順應論是一個極富解釋力和適應性的理論,對口譯研究有很強的啟示作用�？谧g是一個復雜的,持續(xù)做選擇的語言使用過程, 在記者招待會中,口譯多為交替?zhèn)髯g,受眾多為頗為專業(yè)的各國記者,而且經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)含有文化因素的信息,口譯員因此承受諸多壓力,但同時也扮演著多種角色。本文認為口譯員不單純是一個僅僅順應語言的結(jié)構(gòu)的傳聲筒或是被動的翻譯機器,口譯員在記者招待會這個語境中是一名交流的參與者和共建者,正是由于他的參與,這個交流才得以成功進行,與此同時,譯員的表現(xiàn)也影響著交流的進程。譯員又是一名文化的中介,在口譯的過程中,不同的文化與社會背景,需要譯員不斷的做出合適的選擇,以達到最佳的交際效果。譯員又是一名快速學習者,在口譯之前悉心準備,在口譯這個動態(tài)過程中,他不斷地遇到新的問題和主題,不斷的調(diào)整策略,學習相關(guān)知識,所以說每一場會議都是一次緊張的學習。 本文最后提出強化口譯員角色的三種策略。第一,提高原語和目的語的語言水平,加強理解與表達能力,在語言結(jié)構(gòu)上達到順應;第二,口譯員應通過客觀準備以及心態(tài)調(diào)適,增強自己的心理承受能力,順應不斷變化的物理語境,從而從容應對各種挑戰(zhàn);第三,口譯員應該通過專業(yè)訓練以及日常熏陶,形成敏銳的跨文化意識,順應相應的文化語境,成為一名成功的文化中介者。
