【摘要】：勞倫斯·韋努蒂異化翻譯理論的默認語境是以英語為目標語,以其他相對弱勢的語言為源語,因此存在著單向性的缺陷。本文從韋努蒂理論的這一默認語境及其單向性出發(fā),通過重點分析韋努蒂所提倡的異化翻譯在英美文化語境下對西方普世主義思潮的反撥,對英美文化重塑自我認同的促進,以及在其"翻譯倫理"背后掩藏的"本土文化利益至上主義"傾向,揭示其理論真實的"文化政治議程"——即通過異化翻譯在英美文化中移入其他文化的特質,從而為英美社會和民眾找尋一種重塑自我認同的全新模式,并期待通過各類異化翻譯作品來影響社會意義和文化意義的改良。本文認為,韋努蒂的理論歸根結底落實在英美文化中,其對于英美文化的意義遠大于對其他文化的意義;與其說是對英美文化霸權地位的一種解構,不如說是對英美文化自我認同的一種重塑。
[Abstract]:The default context of Laurence Wenuti's foreignization translation theory is English as the target language and other relatively weak languages as the source language, so there is a unidirectional defect. Starting from the default context of Wenuti's theory and its one-way approach, this paper focuses on the dissimilation translation advocated by Wenuti to reverse the trend of thought of western universality in the context of Anglo-American culture, the promotion of self-identity of British and American culture, and the tendency of "native cultural interest supremacy" hidden behind his "translation ethics". To reveal the true "cultural and political agenda" of its theory, that is, to transfer the characteristics of other cultures into Anglo-American culture through foreignization translation, so as to find a new model for British and American society and people to reshape their self-identity, and look forward to influencing the improvement of social and cultural meaning through all kinds of foreignized translation works. This paper holds that Wenuti's theory is implemented in Anglo-American culture in the final analysis, and its significance to Anglo-American culture is much greater than that to other cultures, and it is not so much a kind of deconstructing of Anglo-American cultural hegemony, but rather a reconstruction of Anglo-American cultural self-identity. In the final analysis, Wenuti's theory is implemented in Anglo-American culture, and its significance to Anglo-American culture is much greater than that to other cultures.
