【摘要】：習(xí)語(yǔ)是語(yǔ)言的精華,是人類在長(zhǎng)期生活中對(duì)各種經(jīng)驗(yàn)的積累和升華。動(dòng)物是人類的朋友,與人類關(guān)系密切。因此,人們喜歡用動(dòng)物的形象來(lái)表達(dá)他們的情感。在英語(yǔ)和漢語(yǔ)中都存在大量與動(dòng)物相關(guān)的習(xí)語(yǔ)。由于文化背景不同,語(yǔ)言中動(dòng)物習(xí)語(yǔ)的意義差異較大,會(huì)使學(xué)習(xí)者產(chǎn)生理解上的困難。羊在各民族中都是常見(jiàn)有用的動(dòng)物。作為動(dòng)物中重要的一部分,羊經(jīng)常被人們用來(lái)描述某些現(xiàn)象或是表達(dá)某種情感。 本文作者對(duì)英漢中的“羊”習(xí)語(yǔ)進(jìn)行對(duì)比研究。研究發(fā)現(xiàn)作為一種語(yǔ)言現(xiàn)象,大部分與“羊”有關(guān)的習(xí)語(yǔ)都是隱喻性短語(yǔ),有其自身的民族性。對(duì)“羊”習(xí)語(yǔ)的共時(shí)研究和歷時(shí)研究表明這些習(xí)語(yǔ)具有語(yǔ)音理?yè)?jù)、形態(tài)理?yè)?jù)、語(yǔ)義理?yè)?jù)和詞源理?yè)?jù)。從語(yǔ)言角度文化角度和修辭角度對(duì)這些習(xí)語(yǔ)的闡釋揭示了“羊”習(xí)語(yǔ)具有豐富的象征意義,與宗教、迷信、習(xí)俗密切相關(guān),具有明喻、暗喻和類比的認(rèn)知特點(diǎn)。本文得出的結(jié)論是人們創(chuàng)造“羊”習(xí)語(yǔ)來(lái)代表社會(huì)中不同的人和事,它們蘊(yùn)含豐富多彩的文化內(nèi)涵和象征意義。掌握好“羊”習(xí)語(yǔ)不僅能幫助我們更好地理解目標(biāo)語(yǔ)從而使跨文化交際活動(dòng)順利有效地進(jìn)行,還能幫助我們理解英漢兩國(guó)人民相似的和不同的思維方式。作者相信這個(gè)研究對(duì)于中國(guó)學(xué)習(xí)者學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)是實(shí)用的也是有價(jià)值的。
[Abstract]:Idioms are the essence of language and the accumulation and sublimation of human experience in long-term life. Animals are friends of human beings and are closely related to human beings. Therefore, people like to express their feelings in the image of animals. There are many animal-related idioms in both English and Chinese. Because of the different cultural background, the meaning of animal idioms in language varies greatly, which makes it difficult for learners to understand. Sheep are common and useful animals of all nationalities. As an important part of animals, sheep are often used to describe certain phenomena or express certain emotions. The author makes a contrastive study of sheep idioms in English and Chinese. As a linguistic phenomenon, most of the idioms related to sheep are metaphorical phrases with their own nationality. The synchronic and diachronic studies of "sheep" idioms show that these idioms have phonetic motivations, morphological motivations, semantic motivations and etymological motivations. The interpretation of these idioms from the perspective of language, culture and rhetoric reveals that "sheep" idioms have rich symbolic meanings, are closely related to religion, superstition and custom, and have the cognitive characteristics of similes, metaphors and analogies. The conclusion of this paper is that people create "sheep" idioms to represent different people and events in society, which contain rich and colorful cultural connotations and symbolic meanings. Mastering the idiom of "sheep" can not only help us understand the target language better and make cross-cultural communication work smoothly and effectively, but also help us to understand the similar and different ways of thinking between English and Chinese people. The author believes that this study is practical and valuable for Chinese learners to learn English.
