時(shí)長(zhǎng)修正對(duì)口語(yǔ)自然度影響的研究

【摘要】:時(shí)長(zhǎng)是語(yǔ)調(diào)產(chǎn)出中最重要的因素之一,且時(shí)長(zhǎng)對(duì)日常生活的交際至關(guān)重要。本研究采用了語(yǔ)音合成技術(shù)及感知評(píng)價(jià)實(shí)驗(yàn)和訪談的方法,對(duì)元音、音高重音、以及單詞間銜接處的時(shí)長(zhǎng)修正是否對(duì)口語(yǔ)自然度產(chǎn)生影響分別進(jìn)行了探討。首先,對(duì)照本族語(yǔ)人的時(shí)長(zhǎng)模式,使用Adobe Audition3.0軟件分別對(duì)10個(gè)單詞中的元音時(shí)長(zhǎng),以及10個(gè)多實(shí)義詞短語(yǔ)中的音高重音和單詞間銜接處的時(shí)長(zhǎng)進(jìn)行了修正。通過(guò)對(duì)比本族語(yǔ)和非本族語(yǔ)人的時(shí)長(zhǎng)模式,發(fā)現(xiàn):(1)非本族語(yǔ)人不僅容易混淆長(zhǎng)短元音,而且易于產(chǎn)出時(shí)長(zhǎng)不足的雙元音。(2)非本族語(yǔ)人賦予每個(gè)音節(jié)以突顯,他們往往將重讀和非重讀音節(jié)混為一談,由此導(dǎo)致了音高重音時(shí)長(zhǎng)遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)短于本族語(yǔ)人。(3)非本族語(yǔ)人往往在單詞間產(chǎn)出多余的停頓、自我修復(fù)、或者重復(fù)性語(yǔ)言,因此導(dǎo)致遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)長(zhǎng)于本族語(yǔ)人的單詞間銜接處的時(shí)長(zhǎng)。 此后進(jìn)行了口語(yǔ)自然度的感知實(shí)驗(yàn),實(shí)驗(yàn)中5個(gè)評(píng)分人對(duì)受試的語(yǔ)音材料進(jìn)行了感知并按照9分制進(jìn)行了自然度的評(píng)分。感知實(shí)驗(yàn)后,對(duì)5個(gè)評(píng)分人分別進(jìn)行了結(jié)構(gòu)化訪談以進(jìn)一步了解時(shí)長(zhǎng)修正的作用。自然度感知實(shí)驗(yàn)和訪談的結(jié)果均顯示: (1)元音的時(shí)長(zhǎng)修正一定程度上提高了口語(yǔ)自然度。非本族語(yǔ)人在產(chǎn)出單元音時(shí)更加清晰地意識(shí)到時(shí)長(zhǎng)的不同,因此有利于區(qū)別松緊元音。另外,時(shí)長(zhǎng)修正后的雙元音使得產(chǎn)出的單詞具備足夠的時(shí)長(zhǎng)和音素之間的滑動(dòng)。 (2)音高重音的時(shí)長(zhǎng)修正在一定程度上提高了口語(yǔ)的自然度。音高重音的修正使得短語(yǔ)中最重讀的音節(jié)或單詞因?yàn)樾拚缶邆涞念愃票咀逭Z(yǔ)人的時(shí)長(zhǎng)和足夠的突顯而比未修正時(shí)更加自然。并且,音高重音時(shí)長(zhǎng)修正之后,,聽(tīng)者可以準(zhǔn)確的抓住短語(yǔ)中的強(qiáng)調(diào)信息及說(shuō)者的意圖和態(tài)度,這對(duì)語(yǔ)言交際非常重要。 (3)單詞銜接處的時(shí)長(zhǎng)修正顯著提高了口語(yǔ)的自然度。當(dāng)非本族語(yǔ)人的語(yǔ)流被切除了多余的空白、自我修復(fù)和停頓后,單詞間的銜接比之前更為緊密,且語(yǔ)流更加連貫通順,由此促進(jìn)了口語(yǔ)質(zhì)量的顯著提高。 (4)三者中,單詞銜接處的時(shí)長(zhǎng)修正對(duì)自然度的影響最大,其次是元音,而音高重音時(shí)長(zhǎng)的修正對(duì)口語(yǔ)自然度的影響最小。 本文對(duì)學(xué)生口語(yǔ)中有關(guān)時(shí)長(zhǎng)的幾個(gè)重要的因素進(jìn)行了詳細(xì)的分析和研究,使我們認(rèn)識(shí)到:(1)二語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者在口語(yǔ)產(chǎn)出中對(duì)時(shí)長(zhǎng)因素使用的嚴(yán)重不足;(2)調(diào)整這些因素可以顯著提高口語(yǔ)質(zhì)量。本文的研究結(jié)果和發(fā)現(xiàn)對(duì)二語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)和教學(xué)具有深遠(yuǎn)的意義。
[Abstract]:Duration is one of the most important factors in intonation. In this study, phonetic synthesis techniques, perception evaluation experiments and interviews were used to investigate whether vowels, pitch stresses, and the length of time between words have an effect on the naturalness of spoken English. First, the length of vowels in 10 words, the pitch stress in 10 multi-sense phrases and the length of time between words are modified by using Adobe Audition3.0 software in comparison with the native speaker's time-length model. The results are as follows: (1) the length of time of vowels in 10 words, and the length of stress in 10 phrases of multi-sense words, respectively, and the length of time between words. By comparing the duration patterns of native and non-native speakers, it is found that: (1) Non-native speakers not only tend to confuse short and short vowels, but also tend to produce divowels with insufficient duration. (2) Non-native speakers give each syllable to highlight. They tend to confuse stressed and unstressed syllables, resulting in accented stress times that are much shorter than native speakers. (3) Non-native speakers tend to produce redundant pauses, self-repairing, or repetitive languages between words. This results in the length of time between words that are much longer than native speakers. In the experiment, five raters perceived the speech materials and scored the naturalness according to the 9-point system. After the perception experiment, the five raters were interviewed in a structured way to further understand the role of time correction. The results of naturality perception experiments and interviews show that: (1) the duration correction of vowels improves the oral naturalness to some extent. Non-native speakers are more aware of the differences in length of time when producing unit sounds, thus facilitating the differentiation of compact vowels. In addition, the divowels after length correction make the produced words have enough time to slip between the phonemes. (2) the length correction of pitch stress improves the naturalness of spoken English to a certain extent. The correction of pitch stress makes the most stressed syllable or word in the phrase more natural because of the length and sufficient prominence of the modified native-like person than the unmodified one. Moreover, after the pitch stress is corrected, the listener can accurately grasp the emphasis message in the phrase and the intention and attitude of the speaker. This is very important for language communication. (3) the length correction at the cohesion of words significantly improves the naturalness of spoken language. When the flow of non-native speakers is removed from the excess blanks, self-repairing and pausing, the cohesion between words is closer than before, and the flow is more coherent and smooth, thus promoting the significant improvement of the quality of spoken language. (4) among the three groups, The length correction at the cohesion of words has the greatest influence on naturalness, followed by vowels, while the correction of accentuation duration has the least effect on the naturalness of spoken English. This paper makes a detailed analysis and study of several important factors related to the length of oral English, which makes us realize that: (1) L2 learners have a serious shortage in the use of the time-span factor in oral English production; (2) adjusting these factors can improve oral quality significantly. The findings and findings of this paper are of great significance to second language learning and teaching.
