【摘要】：在文學(xué)創(chuàng)作中,人物是主要的描寫對象。文學(xué)翻譯雖不同于創(chuàng)作,但譯者也必須深刻理解原文中的人物,從而準(zhǔn)確地反映出原文作者筆下的人物形象特征。人物形象的表現(xiàn)方式多種多樣,包括他們的語言,行為,外貌和心理描寫。翻譯就是發(fā)掘這些特征并在譯入語中還原出來。只有這樣做,譯者才能使譯作具有強烈的感人力量和藝術(shù)魅力。在《野獸花園》這部回憶錄式傳記中,作者埃瑞克·拉森根據(jù)人物的社會地位,所處的具體場景和人物之間的相互關(guān)系,賦予了每個人物極具鮮明的形象特征。 為了向讀者介紹埃瑞克·拉森的這部作品,筆者選取了書中的第三部分進(jìn)行翻譯,整個部分包括十個章節(jié)。整個翻譯過程是在嚴(yán)復(fù)“信,達(dá),雅”的翻譯原則的指導(dǎo)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)下操作的。其中如何在譯文中生動再現(xiàn)原文中的人物形象是翻譯過程中的重點和難點。 本報告全文共分為四部分,任務(wù)描述,過程描述,案例分析和結(jié)論。在案例分析部分,筆者擬從文體學(xué)角度切入,從語相,詞匯,句法修辭和段落四個層面對如何在翻譯過程中再現(xiàn)文學(xué)作品中的人物形象進(jìn)行探討。在語相層面,詞匯大小寫和斜體字是筆者關(guān)注的對象。對語言特殊的印刷形式保持高度敏感可幫助筆者深刻理解原作者意圖；在詞匯層面,筆者對具有強烈情感意義和文體色彩的詞匯高度重視,在翻譯時十分注意措辭的選擇；在句法修辭上,筆者主要探討了省略句和排比句的翻譯,在保證意義無缺失的情況下,盡量做到形式對等；在段落層面上,筆者著重采用詞匯,語法手段和句際的語義關(guān)系來實現(xiàn)篇章的連貫與銜接。這樣一來,一個個形貌各異,多姿多彩,生動鮮活的人物形象就被還原了出來。 通過本報告,筆者意在說明譯者在翻譯過程中,應(yīng)當(dāng)給予原作語言文體特征適當(dāng)關(guān)注,依靠理論指導(dǎo)尋求最佳翻譯策略,以求最大程度地再現(xiàn)原文人物形象,進(jìn)而保留原作的文學(xué)價值。
[Abstract]:In literary creation, characters are the main objects of description. Although literary translation is different from creation, the translator must also deeply understand the characters in the original text so as to accurately reflect the characteristics of the characters in the original author's works. Characters are represented in a variety of ways, including their language, behavior, appearance and psychological description. Translation is to discover these characteristics and restore them in the target language. Only in this way can the translator make the translation with strong touching force and artistic charm. In this memoir biography of the Garden of the Beast, Eric Larson, according to the social status of the characters, their specific scenes and the relationship between the characters, endows each character with distinct image characteristics. In order to introduce Eric Larson to the reader, the author chooses the third part of the book to translate, the whole part includes ten chapters. The whole translation process is governed by the translation principles of Yan Fu. How to vividly reproduce the characters in the original text is the key and difficult point in the translation process. This report is divided into four parts: task description, process description, case analysis and conclusion. In the part of case analysis, the author tries to discuss how to reproduce the characters in literary works in the process of translation from the perspective of stylistics, from the aspects of language, vocabulary, syntactic rhetoric and paragraphs. At the linguistic level, the case of vocabulary and italics are the objects that the author pays close attention to. Keeping a high sensitivity to the special print form of the language can help the author to understand the original author's intention deeply, at the lexical level, the author attaches great importance to the words with strong emotional meaning and stylistic color, and pays great attention to the choice of the words in the translation. In terms of syntactic rhetoric, the author mainly discusses the translation of ellipsis and comparison sentences, and tries to achieve formal equivalence while ensuring that there is no lack of meaning, while at the paragraph level, the author focuses on the use of vocabulary. The grammatical means and the semantic relations between sentences are used to realize the coherence and cohesion of the text. In this way, a variety of morphology, colorful, vivid characters were restored. Through the present report, the author intends to show that the translator should pay due attention to the stylistic features of the original language in the process of translation, and seek the best translation strategy under the guidance of theory in order to maximize the reproduction of the image of the original character. And then retain the literary value of the original work.
