概念整合理論下英漢新詞的語(yǔ)義分析

【摘要】:語(yǔ)言是一個(gè)開(kāi)放系統(tǒng),是對(duì)社會(huì)政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、文化發(fā)展的最好體現(xiàn),隨著社會(huì)政治經(jīng)濟(jì)和文化的發(fā)展,語(yǔ)言也在某種程度上在不斷變化發(fā)展。在構(gòu)成語(yǔ)言的諸多要素之中,詞匯是最活躍,最敏感,最能反映這種發(fā)展的要素。在這種發(fā)展的基礎(chǔ)上,新詞新語(yǔ)隨之不斷產(chǎn)生。新詞新語(yǔ)的不斷涌現(xiàn)引起了語(yǔ)言學(xué)者的研究興趣和關(guān)注,因此,新詞新語(yǔ)成為了近年來(lái)語(yǔ)言研究的重點(diǎn)對(duì)象。英漢新詞新語(yǔ)是指近期產(chǎn)生在英漢語(yǔ)中的,具有新的意義和形態(tài)的詞或者短語(yǔ),或者是指原有的詞匯,因?yàn)樯鐣?huì)文化的發(fā)展,產(chǎn)生了新的意義或者意義發(fā)生了轉(zhuǎn)移。通過(guò)對(duì)新詞新語(yǔ)的研究,可以把握社會(huì)發(fā)展的動(dòng)態(tài)。 國(guó)內(nèi)外的學(xué)者對(duì)新詞新語(yǔ)已經(jīng)做了很多研究,但是大部分研究關(guān)注于新詞新語(yǔ)的產(chǎn)生原因和用法的研究,很少有人從認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)的角度對(duì)新詞新語(yǔ)語(yǔ)義進(jìn)行全面的分析,更少有人通過(guò)概念整合理論對(duì)新詞的語(yǔ)義進(jìn)行分析。因此,本文試圖以概念整合理論為基礎(chǔ),從認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)的角度對(duì)新詞新語(yǔ)的語(yǔ)義整合進(jìn)行分析。 本文的語(yǔ)料主要來(lái)自于英語(yǔ)新詞網(wǎng)站“wordspy”和通過(guò)搜索引擎搜集整理時(shí)下使用頻繁的漢語(yǔ)新詞。在本文中,作者主要專注于新合成詞的語(yǔ)義整合分析,作者認(rèn)為,,新詞新語(yǔ)意義的產(chǎn)生并不是隨機(jī)的、偶然的,是對(duì)原有詞匯語(yǔ)義的發(fā)展和提升,原型范疇理論對(duì)這種發(fā)展和提升有著有力的闡釋力。同時(shí),新詞的產(chǎn)生也不都是新造詞語(yǔ),大部分都是對(duì)已存在的詞匯進(jìn)行重組,構(gòu)成新詞,而新生成的詞義是在原有的詞義,是仍保留其原型意義基礎(chǔ)上的發(fā)展和提升,概念整合理論也恰恰能夠很確切的分析組合后的語(yǔ)義生成。 本文共分為六個(gè)章節(jié): 第一章,緒論部分,對(duì)新詞新語(yǔ)進(jìn)行概述,并介紹了本文的研究意義。 第二章,回顧國(guó)內(nèi)外對(duì)英語(yǔ)新詞和國(guó)內(nèi)對(duì)漢語(yǔ)新詞的研究狀況,介紹新詞新語(yǔ)的定義和構(gòu)成方式。 第三章,是本文的理論基礎(chǔ),詳細(xì)論述了原型范疇理論和概念整合理論,以及它們的理論界面。 第四章,介紹本文的研究目的,研究方法,研究問(wèn)題和選詞依據(jù)。 第五章,是本文的主體部分,在本章中,作者利用原型范疇理論對(duì)新詞新語(yǔ)的意義構(gòu)建進(jìn)行分析,然后從概念整合角度分析了心智空間的變化對(duì)新詞意義的影響,又對(duì)概念整合理論的認(rèn)知闡釋力加以說(shuō)明,并運(yùn)用具體例子論證分析。 第六章,是本文的結(jié)論部分,闡述了本文的研究結(jié)論和英漢新詞生成方式的不同特點(diǎn),并且介紹了本文研究的局限性。 簡(jiǎn)言之,本文運(yùn)用認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)的原型范疇理論和概念整合理論對(duì)英漢新詞的語(yǔ)義構(gòu)建進(jìn)行分析,這一研究在某種程度上有一定的理論意義和應(yīng)用意義。在理論方面,對(duì)于英漢新詞的意義構(gòu)建的認(rèn)知過(guò)程進(jìn)行了細(xì)致的分析,在應(yīng)用方面,可以幫助學(xué)習(xí)者掌握英漢詞匯發(fā)展的動(dòng)向,并且對(duì)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)起到了一定的指導(dǎo)作用。
[Abstract]:Language is an open system, which is the best embodiment of the development of social politics, economy and culture. With the development of social politics, economy and culture, language is changing to some extent. Among the many elements of language, vocabulary is the most active, sensitive and most reflective of this development. On the basis of this development, neologisms and neologisms are constantly produced. The continuous emergence of neologisms has aroused the interest and attention of linguists. Therefore, neologism has become the focus of linguistic research in recent years. English and Chinese neologisms refer to words or phrases which have new meanings and forms recently produced in English and Chinese, or the original words, because of the development of social culture, new meanings or meanings have been transferred. Through the study of neologisms and neologisms, we can grasp the development of society. Scholars at home and abroad have done a lot of research on neologisms, but most of the studies have focused on the causes and usage of neologisms, and few people have made a comprehensive analysis of neologisms' semantics from the perspective of cognitive linguistics. Few people analyze the semantics of neologisms by conceptual integration theory. Therefore, this paper attempts to analyze the semantic integration of neologisms from the perspective of cognitive linguistics on the basis of conceptual integration theory. The corpus of this paper mainly comes from the English neologism website "wordspy" and the frequently used Chinese neologisms through search engine. In this paper, the author mainly focuses on the semantic integration analysis of neologisms. The author thinks that the meaning of neologisms is not random, accidental, it is the development and promotion of the original lexical semantics. The archetypal category theory has a powerful explanatory power to this development and promotion. At the same time, the emergence of new words is not all new words, most of them are the reorganization of existing words to form new words, and the newly generated word meaning is based on the original meaning, which is the development and promotion on the basis of retaining its prototype meaning. The theory of conceptual integration can precisely analyze the semantic generation after combination. This paper is divided into six chapters: the first chapter, the introduction part, the new words and neologisms are summarized, and the significance of this study is introduced. The second chapter reviews the domestic and foreign researches on English neologisms and Chinese neologisms, and introduces the definitions and forms of neologisms. The third chapter is the theoretical basis of this paper, the prototype category theory and conceptual integration theory, as well as their theoretical interface. Chapter four introduces the research purpose, research methods, research problems and the basis of word selection. The fifth chapter is the main part of this paper. In this chapter, the author uses prototype category theory to analyze the meaning construction of neologisms, and then analyzes the influence of the change of mental space on the meaning of neologisms from the perspective of conceptual integration. The cognitive interpretation of conceptual integration theory is explained, and concrete examples are used to demonstrate and analyze it. The sixth chapter is the conclusion of this paper, which describes the research conclusions and the different characteristics of English and Chinese neologisms, and introduces the limitations of this study. In short, this paper uses the prototype category theory and conceptual integration theory of cognitive linguistics to analyze the semantic construction of English and Chinese neologisms. To some extent, this study has some theoretical and practical significance. In theory, this paper makes a detailed analysis of the cognitive process of the meaning construction of English and Chinese neologisms, which can help learners master the developing trend of English and Chinese vocabulary and play a guiding role in English teaching.
