【摘要】：近些年來，國際間的交流合作越來越頻繁，，對政治語篇的興趣與日俱增。研究者旨在研究語言是如何為特點政治目的服務(wù)的。在國際范圍內(nèi)，相關(guān)的研究已從修辭、批評、社會和語言學(xué)視角展開。然而，對中國政治語篇的研究近乎空白。 修辭結(jié)構(gòu)理論是一種語篇結(jié)構(gòu)分析的新方法，其核心思想是：語篇是由各具重要功能的部分構(gòu)成，較小的部分按一定的關(guān)系模式組成更大的部分，直至生成語篇。盡管該理論已被應(yīng)用于各種長度、各種體裁的語篇研究，但政治演講仍是其未觸及的領(lǐng)域。 本文嘗試著用RST理論的研究方法對政治演講進(jìn)行研究。筆者采用定性與定量相結(jié)合的方法，對20篇政治演講稿的修辭結(jié)構(gòu)進(jìn)行分析比較，其中10篇來自中國領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人，10篇來自美國領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人，得出以下結(jié)論：盡管中國領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人的政治研究譯文在形式上與美國領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人的政治演講無異，但如果深入分析兩國領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人英文政治演講稿的修辭結(jié)構(gòu)，不難發(fā)現(xiàn)兩者存在很大差異。研究發(fā)現(xiàn)，中美演講稿中的修辭結(jié)構(gòu)并不相同；另外，同標(biāo)準(zhǔn)英語相比，中國英語更注重意合。而這些差異產(chǎn)生的原因正是文化因素。 本論文試圖對中美政治語篇對比研究作出貢獻(xiàn)，希望幫助作者和譯者提高跨文化意識。
[Abstract]:In recent years, international exchanges and cooperation have become more and more frequent and interest in political discourse has increased. Researchers aim to study how languages serve characteristic political purposes. Internationally, studies have been conducted from rhetorical, critical, social and linguistic perspectives. However, the study of Chinese political discourse is almost blank. The theory of rhetorical structure is a new method of discourse structure analysis. Its core idea is that the text is composed of parts with important functions, and the smaller parts form a larger part according to a certain relationship pattern, until the idiom text is born. Although the theory has been applied to discourse studies of various lengths and genres, political speech is still an untouched field. This article attempts to use the RST theory research method to carry on the research to the political speech. By combining qualitative and quantitative methods, the author analyzes and compares the rhetorical structure of 20 political speeches, of which 10 are from Chinese leaders and 10 from American leaders. The following conclusions can be drawn: although the translation of Chinese leaders' political studies is no different from that of American leaders' political speeches, it is not difficult to find that there are great differences between the two countries' English political speeches if the rhetorical structure of the two leaders' English political speeches is analyzed in depth. It is found that the rhetorical structures in Chinese and American speeches are not the same; in addition, China English pays more attention to parataxis than standard English. These differences are caused by cultural factors. This thesis attempts to contribute to the contrastive study of political discourse between China and the United States in the hope of helping the author and the translator to raise their cross-cultural awareness.
