【摘要】：委婉語作為一種修辭格及文化現(xiàn)象，不僅從獨特的角度反映出一個民族的歷史、政治、經(jīng)濟、文化和思想意識等領域的變遷，還可以幫助我們維持和諧的人際關系。作為委婉語的一種，外交官們常在談論不便提及的事件或觀點時，用外交委婉語來表達。由于歷史、文化及社會價值觀的差異，委婉語的口譯比較復雜。作為一種跨文化的交際活動，委婉語的口譯應以目標語讀者為服務對象。 本文試圖從功能對等理論視角對外交委婉語的口譯進行研究，主要語料選自中華人民共和國外交部2014年1月至2014年12月外交部發(fā)言人例行記者會，同時，，一些外交場合比較典型的例子也會在分析中提及。 功能對等理論在指導外交委婉語的口譯中是行之有效的，但在實際口譯過程中，不可避免地會出現(xiàn)限制性。對于委婉語的口譯還需要進一步的研究和探討。
[Abstract]:Euphemism, as a rhetorical and cultural phenomenon, not only reflects the historical, political, economic, cultural and ideological changes of a nation from a unique perspective, but also helps us maintain harmonious interpersonal relations. As a kind of euphemism, diplomats often use diplomatic euphemisms when talking about inconvenient events or opinions. Due to historical, cultural and social values, the interpretation of euphemism is complicated. As a cross-cultural communicative activity, euphemism interpretation should be aimed at target readers. This paper attempts to study the interpretation of diplomatic euphemisms from the perspective of functional equivalence. The main corpus is selected from the regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the people's Republic of China from January 2014 to December 2014. Some of the more typical examples of diplomatic occasions will also be mentioned in the analysis. The theory of functional equivalence is effective in guiding diplomatic euphemism, but in the process of actual interpretation, it will inevitably appear restrictive. The interpretation of euphemism needs further study and discussion.
