翻譯視野下的漢—英雙語者第二語言復(fù)合詞表征

【摘要】:本研究旨在通過對英語復(fù)合詞的翻譯來探測漢英雙語者二語詞匯的表征和加工的機(jī)制。實(shí)驗(yàn)選取了32名來自福建師范大學(xué)外國語學(xué)院英語專業(yè)研究生作為被試來參與英語復(fù)合詞的翻譯任務(wù)。結(jié)果表明,和經(jīng)典的詞匯判斷任務(wù)一樣,在翻譯任務(wù)中,英語復(fù)合詞的語義透明度影響英語復(fù)合詞表征,透明復(fù)合詞和不透明復(fù)合詞在翻譯的反應(yīng)時和正確率上都有區(qū)別;和其他研究者一致,本研究中,也出現(xiàn)了雙語的同時激活,英語復(fù)合詞的翻譯對等復(fù)合詞在漢語中的詞匯地位也影響英語復(fù)合詞的表征;英語復(fù)合詞語義透明度和漢語中翻譯對等復(fù)合詞的詞匯地位共同影響著英語復(fù)合詞的表征和通達(dá)過程,在雙語聯(lián)結(jié)方面,語義不透明英語復(fù)合詞在雙語心理詞典中更傾向于詞匯聯(lián)結(jié),然而語義透明英語復(fù)合詞更傾向于概念聯(lián)結(jié);同時本文證實(shí)了復(fù)合詞加工階段模型,復(fù)合詞都經(jīng)歷了分解過程,但復(fù)合詞的語義透明度決定復(fù)合詞的成分詞素是否和整個復(fù)合詞的概念有關(guān)。
[Abstract]:The purpose of this study is to explore the mechanism of lexical representation and processing in Chinese and English bilinguals through the translation of English compound words. Thirty-two graduate students majoring in English from Fujian normal University were selected as subjects to participate in the translation of English compound words. The results show that, as in the classical lexical judgment task, the semantic transparency of English compound words affects the representation of English compound words in translation tasks, and there are differences in the reaction time and correct rate between transparent compound words and opaque compound words. In agreement with other researchers, in this study, there is simultaneous bilingual activation, and the lexical status of translation equivalents of English compound words in Chinese also affects the representation of English compound words. The transparency of the meaning of English compound words and the lexical status of translation equivalents in Chinese affect the representation and accessibility of English compound words. Semantic opaque English compound words are more inclined to lexical association in bilingual mental lexicon, but semantic transparent English compound words are more inclined to conceptual association. But the semantic transparency of the compound word determines whether the morpheme of the compound word is related to the concept of the whole compound word.
