整合理論類屬空間的屬性模型修正

【摘要】:PantherThornburg (1998:756)指出傳統(tǒng)認(rèn)知理論的兩個(gè)不足:(1)沒有完整的闡釋為什么聽話者可以很輕松地進(jìn)行各種各樣的語用推論;(2)也沒有系統(tǒng)地闡述相關(guān)推理模型及其認(rèn)知基礎(chǔ)。因此,他們以更加精細(xì)描繪言外范疇為目的,進(jìn)一步發(fā)展了情景理論,并且正式提出IM理論,即間接言語行為被言外轉(zhuǎn)喻(IM)所替代。IM把轉(zhuǎn)喻中的認(rèn)知域稱為情景,所以,此理論為認(rèn)知語用學(xué)的發(fā)展做出了巨大貢獻(xiàn),尤其在解釋認(rèn)知機(jī)制方面。 作為認(rèn)知語言學(xué)重要的研究方法,整合理論的位置舉足輕重。Fauconnier認(rèn)為語言研究的重點(diǎn)是意義的構(gòu)建過程(Fauconnier:1997,2),因此心理空間的建立、映射與合成機(jī)制,自然成為整合理論(CBT)研究的核心問題。 盡管很少有人會(huì)對(duì)整合理論的提出質(zhì)疑,但是概念整合理論并不像它的創(chuàng)造者期望得那樣完美。其主要的缺陷之一是沒有把語境功能考慮其中。CBT未能說明生成空間的具體生成機(jī)制,這直接導(dǎo)致其過于強(qiáng)大的包容性。 本篇論文以IM的核心理論——言語行為的屬性能夠獨(dú)立地代表其言語行為本身(Panther,2004:103-104)——作為研究對(duì)象。通過與整合理論、心理模型理論,及其他語言學(xué)理論的結(jié)合,以證明屬性操作的合理性和提高轉(zhuǎn)喻操作的宏觀高度。它的目的是構(gòu)建“屬性強(qiáng)加聯(lián)想”模式,它是基于原有的IM理論和整合理論的修正版本。 屬性模型由以下幾個(gè)方面組成:(1)修正原本的屬性假設(shè),使其成為這種模型的分支理論;(2)對(duì)整合理論做出以下修正:更加明了地解釋了生成空間操作的必要性;更清楚地展示了整合理論中的二次生成操作;添加了所謂的評(píng)估空間的輸出空間。至此,整個(gè)IM理論最終形成了以聽話者作為指向的屬性—誘導(dǎo)—強(qiáng)加—聯(lián)想的因果過程。經(jīng)過一步步的推理,最終呈現(xiàn)的是一個(gè)簡化的圖式,用來展示推理過程的集成功能。第一章,緒論。在這一章,作者對(duì)整合理論的整體發(fā)展、歷史和背景做了簡要介紹。第二章,理論框架和文獻(xiàn)綜述。此章節(jié)對(duì)本文的理論背景加以細(xì)劃,其中包括,格式塔理論,心理模型理論和指類思維理論。第三章,方法論。本章更加細(xì)致地闡述了文中所涉及的方法論。第四章,研究結(jié)果。對(duì)本文的結(jié)果進(jìn)行闡釋:整合理論并不是無所不包的,,它實(shí)際上受到了言語環(huán)境的制約。第五章,討論。在這一章,作者把修改過后的整合理論及其屬性操作,用實(shí)際的例子加以闡述。第六章,總結(jié)。在這一章節(jié)里面,對(duì)理論做了最后的總結(jié),并且也對(duì)本文的不足及其在未來的發(fā)展做出展望。
[Abstract]:PantherThornburg / 1998: 756) points out that there is no complete explanation of why hearers can easily carry out various pragmatic inferences, and that there is no systematic explanation of relevant reasoning models and their cognitive basis.Therefore, they further developed the situational theory with the aim of more detailed description of the category, and formally put forward the IM theory that indirect speech act is replaced by imm in metonymy, which refers to the cognitive domain in metonymy as a situation.This theory has made great contribution to the development of cognitive pragmatics, especially in explaining cognitive mechanism.As an important research method in cognitive linguistics, integration theory plays an important role. Fauconnier thinks that the focus of language research is the process of meaning construction.Nature has become the core problem in the study of integration theory (CBT).Although few people question the theory of integration, the theory of conceptual integration is not as perfect as its creators expected.One of its main defects is that it does not take context function into account. CBT fails to explain the concrete generation mechanism of generating space, which directly leads to its too strong inclusiveness.This thesis focuses on IM's core theory, the attribute of speech act, which can represent the speech act itself.Through the combination of integration theory, psychological model theory, and other linguistic theories, we can prove the rationality of attribute operation and raise the macro height of metonymy operation.Its aim is to construct the "attribute imposed association" model, which is based on the original IM theory and the revised version of the integration theory.The attribute model is composed of the following aspects: (1) the original attribute hypothesis is modified to make it a branch of this model. (2) the integration theory is revised as follows: (1) the necessity of generating space operation is explained more clearly;The second generation operation in the integration theory is shown more clearly, and the output space of the so-called evaluation space is added.So far, the whole IM theory has finally formed the causal process of inducement-imposed-association with hearer as the direction.Through step-by-step reasoning, a simplified schema is presented to demonstrate the integration function of the reasoning process.Chapter one, introduction.In this chapter, the author briefly introduces the whole development, history and background of integration theory.Chapter two, theoretical framework and literature review.This chapter gives a detailed description of the theoretical background of this paper, including Gestalt theory, psychological model theory and finger thinking theory.Chapter III, Methodology.This chapter elaborates the methodology involved in this paper in more detail.The fourth chapter, the research results.To explain the result of this paper: integration theory is not all-encompassing, it is actually restricted by the speech environment.Chapter V, discussion.In this chapter, the modified integration theory and its attribute operation are illustrated with practical examples.Chapter VI, Summary.In this chapter, the final summary of the theory, and also the shortcomings of this paper and the future development of the prospects.
