【摘要】：隱喻的研究經(jīng)歷了漫長(zhǎng)的歷史,從亞里士多德的對(duì)比理論開始,將近兩千多年的歷史,人們都把隱喻看作是一種修辭手段。幾千年以來,人們對(duì)隱喻的研究都局限于修辭這一層面。直到20世紀(jì)30年代,隨著理查茲和布萊克的互動(dòng)理論的出現(xiàn),隱喻的研究出現(xiàn)了轉(zhuǎn)折點(diǎn),人們對(duì)隱喻的研究上升到了認(rèn)知層面。理查茲把隱喻研究帶到了一個(gè)新時(shí)代,從此以后,學(xué)者們開始從認(rèn)知的角度來研究隱喻。 后來,更多學(xué)者開始從認(rèn)知的角度來研究隱喻。萊可夫的概念隱喻理論對(duì)隱喻的研究有著極為重要的意義。概念隱喻理論認(rèn)為隱喻不僅僅是一種簡(jiǎn)單的語言現(xiàn)象,也是人類思維,語言應(yīng)用的一種認(rèn)知工具。這種認(rèn)知模式體現(xiàn)在人們的思維,語言,及行動(dòng)當(dāng)中。隱喻是一種思維方式,它反映的是人們對(duì)客觀世界以及他們的內(nèi)心世界的理解。文化這一概念有著豐富的內(nèi)涵,它包含著一個(gè)國(guó)家的歷史,地理?xiàng)l件,自然環(huán)境,物質(zhì)文明,風(fēng)俗習(xí)慣,思維意識(shí),宗教,政治,價(jià)值觀等其他方面。隱喻與文化有著緊密的聯(lián)系,一個(gè)民族的很多深層文化都是通過隱喻傳承的,例如人生哲學(xué),世界觀等。文化又屬于語言的一部分,很多文化因素都反映在隱喻當(dāng)中。 在我們的日常生活中,概念隱喻表達(dá)是非常常見的。不同民族,不同國(guó)家的概念體系又深深地扎根于自己的文化當(dāng)中。我們都知道中西方的文化背景有相似之處,也有不同之處。中英隱喻表達(dá)也是如此。本文即是從概念隱喻理論的角度來分析中英隱喻表達(dá),并且探尋概念隱喻與文化的相互關(guān)系,從而來分析中英隱喻表達(dá)的文化相似性和差異性,并期望這些相似性和差異性能給予外語教學(xué)一些啟示。
[Abstract]:The study of metaphor has gone through a long history, beginning with Aristotle's contrastive theory, and nearly two thousand years ago, metaphor is regarded as a rhetorical device.For thousands of years, the study of metaphor has been confined to rhetoric.Until the 1930s, with the emergence of Richards and Blake's theory of interaction, the study of metaphor reached a turning point, and the study of metaphor rose to the cognitive level.Richards brought metaphor research into a new era, and since then, scholars have begun to study metaphor from the perspective of cognition.Later, more scholars began to study metaphor from a cognitive perspective.Lakoff's Conceptual metaphor Theory is of great significance to the study of metaphor.Conceptual metaphor theory holds that metaphor is not only a simple linguistic phenomenon, but also a cognitive tool for human thinking and language application.This cognitive model is embodied in people's thinking, language, and action.Metaphor is a way of thinking that reflects people's understanding of the objective world and their inner world.The concept of culture has a rich connotation, it contains a country's history, geographical conditions, natural environment, material civilization, customs, thinking consciousness, religion, politics, values and other aspects.Metaphor is closely related to culture, and many deep cultures of a nation are inherited through metaphor, such as philosophy of life, world outlook and so on.Culture is also a part of language, and many cultural factors are reflected in metaphor.Conceptual metaphor is very common in our daily life.The concept system of different nationalities and different countries is deeply rooted in their own culture.We all know that there are similarities and differences in the cultural backgrounds between China and the West.The same is true of Chinese and English metaphors.From the perspective of conceptual metaphor theory, this paper analyzes Chinese and English metaphorical expressions, and explores the relationship between conceptual metaphor and culture, so as to analyze the cultural similarities and differences between Chinese and English metaphorical expressions.It is hoped that these similarities and differences will give some enlightenment to foreign language teaching.
