淺談圖式理論在口譯中的應(yīng)用:以典禮致辭口譯為例

【摘要】:近幾年來,學(xué)者們紛紛在跨學(xué)科領(lǐng)域探索口譯研究,許多學(xué)者開始把口譯看作一項需要從認(rèn)知科學(xué)的視野出發(fā)從而了解更多本質(zhì)的復(fù)雜心理活動。認(rèn)知科學(xué),尤其是認(rèn)知語言學(xué)和認(rèn)知心理學(xué)由此被帶進(jìn)口譯學(xué)科研究當(dāng)中。圖式理論是認(rèn)知心理學(xué)中最具影響力的理論之一,長久以來被應(yīng)用于各種心理活動的分析。圖式理論以背景知識為理論重心,廣泛應(yīng)用于語言習(xí)得、閱讀和聽力理解等研究領(lǐng)域。自從認(rèn)知科學(xué)被引入口譯學(xué)科后,圖式理論也開始進(jìn)入口譯研究的視線。 在林林總總的口譯實踐中,典禮致辭口譯頻頻見于商業(yè)、外交以及其他正式場合。和其他類型的發(fā)言相比,典禮致辭獨具特色,如不涉及過于高深的專業(yè)知識,演講的內(nèi)容往往計劃性強(qiáng)、系統(tǒng)連貫、邏輯清楚、條理得當(dāng),致辭語言大多較為正式講究,演講者的語氣往往帶有較明顯的感情色彩等等,因此成為最常見的公眾演講方式,也使得典禮致辭口譯成為最常見的口譯類型之一。 本文探究了把圖式理論應(yīng)用在口譯過程中的可行性。作者以典禮致辭口譯為例對圖式在口譯過程中發(fā)揮的重要作用展開闡述。本文介紹了四種應(yīng)用于口譯的圖式,即語言圖式、內(nèi)容圖式、結(jié)構(gòu)圖式和文化圖式;探討了口譯過程中可能出現(xiàn)的圖式障礙以及圖式在口譯不同階段所扮演的角色;最后得出如下結(jié)論:通過圖式激活、圖式修訂和圖式重建,口譯的質(zhì)量能得到有效提高。 作者希望本文能讓更多人了解圖式理論及其在口譯學(xué)科中的應(yīng)用,對未來的研究做出綿薄之力。
[Abstract]:In recent years, scholars have been exploring the interpretation research in the interdisciplinary field. Many scholars have begun to regard interpreting as a complex psychological activity that needs to be seen from the perspective of cognitive science in order to understand more essential psychological activities. In particular, cognitive linguistics and cognitive psychology are brought into the study of interpretation. Schema theory is one of the most influential theories in cognitive psychology. Schema theory has long been applied to the analysis of various psychological activities. Schema theory focuses on background knowledge and is widely used in the fields of language acquisition, reading and listening comprehension. Since the introduction of cognitive science into the field of interpretation, schema theory has been widely used in the field of language acquisition, reading and listening comprehension. Schema theory has also begun to enter the perspective of interpretation studies. In a wide variety of interpreting practices, speech interpretation is frequently seen in business, diplomacy and other formal occasions. Compared with other types of speeches, speeches are unique, such as not involving overly sophisticated expertise, The content of the speech is often planned, coherent, logical, well-organized, most of the speeches are more formal, the tone of the speaker often has a more obvious emotional color, and so on, so it becomes the most common public speech. It also makes speech interpreting one of the most common types of interpretation. This paper explores the feasibility of applying schema theory to the interpretation process. The author takes the ceremony speech as an example to expound the important role played by schema in the process of interpreting. That is, language schema, content schema, structural diagram and cultural schema. The paper discusses the possible obstacles in the process of interpreting and the role of schema in different stages of interpretation. Finally, the following conclusions are drawn: the schema is activated by schema. Schema revision and schema reconstruction can effectively improve the quality of interpretation. The author hopes that this paper can help more people to understand schema theory and its application in interpreting.
