【摘要】：近幾十年來,隨著世界分工越來越細化,對筆譯的要求也越來越專業(yè)化,不同領域的筆譯具有自身特點的翻譯策略和翻譯準則。然而目前對于服飾歷史等時尚文本翻譯的研究仍然有限,因此對于此類文本的翻譯及研究具有重要意義�！稌r尚、服飾與文化:不同時期的服裝、頭飾、配飾和鞋類》于2003年出版,由Sara Pendergast與Tom Pendergast合著,是一套有關歐美時尚歷史的百科全書。本套叢書共五卷,涉及大量服飾面料及設計工藝等專業(yè)知識,具有極高的審美價值和藝術價值。由于對服飾具有濃厚興趣,我們?nèi)私M成翻譯團隊共同翻譯第三卷《從文藝復興時期至現(xiàn)代的歐洲文化》。筆者在獨立完成第三卷第五章翻譯的基礎上,完成此翻譯報告。本實踐翻譯報告分為四部分,包括任務描述、過程描述、案例分析以及總結。本報告主要通過對本次翻譯任務中時尚術語的翻譯,總結出時尚術語的自身特色,時尚產(chǎn)業(yè)術語翻譯的一些翻譯策略與規(guī)范。比如本書中服飾行業(yè)的術語極具特色,很多術語源自相關人名、地名,筆者在案例分析部分詳細討論了術語的翻譯。譯者希望通過本次實踐,一方面提高自身翻譯技能,掌握更多翻譯理論和策略;另一方面滿足國內(nèi)讀者對于閱讀外國時尚書籍的需求,增加國內(nèi)時尚服飾歷史書籍的種類,為中國的時尚產(chǎn)業(yè)引進新元素,為文化交流貢獻綿薄之力。
[Abstract]:In recent decades, as the world's division of labor has become more and more detailed, the requirements for translation have become more and more specialized. Translators in different fields have their own translation strategies and translation guidelines. However, the research on the translation of fashionable texts such as dress history is still limited, so it is of great significance to the translation and study of such texts. "Costume and Culture: clothing, Headwear, Accessories and Footwear of different periods." published in 2003, Sara Pendergast and Tom Pendergast are an encyclopedia of European and American fashion history. This series consists of five volumes. Involving a large number of clothing fabrics and design technology and other professional knowledge, with very high aesthetic value and artistic value. Because of a strong interest in clothing, The three of us formed a translation team to translate the third volume, European Culture from the Renaissance to the Modern. On the basis of the translation of chapter 5th of volume III, the author has completed this translation report. This practical translation report is divided into four parts. Including task description, process description, case analysis and summary. This report summarizes the characteristics of fashion terms through the translation of fashion terms in this translation task. Some translation strategies and norms for the translation of fashion industry terms. For example, the terms of the clothing industry in this book are very distinctive, many of which are derived from related names, place names, In the part of case study, the author discusses the translation of terms in detail. The translator hopes to improve his translation skills and master more translation theories and strategies through this practice. On the other hand, it can meet the needs of domestic readers to read foreign fashion books, increase the variety of domestic fashion dress history books, introduce new elements for Chinese fashion industry, and contribute to cultural exchange.
