【摘要】:本文的研究對象,是20世紀20年代英國倫敦大學東方學院(School of Oriental Studies,University of London)英中教師合作編寫的漢語教材《言語聲片》(Linguaphone Oriental Language Courses:Chinese)。該書內容豐富,淺顯易懂,全面培養(yǎng)學生聽、說、讀、寫技能,是一本較為成熟的中外合編的對外漢語教材。本文按照教學順序進行分析論述,分為以下六章:第一章是緒論,概述本文的研究對象、研究意義與研究現(xiàn)狀,介紹采用的理論、方法和語料來源。第二章概述該書課本內容與成書背景,其編撰團隊由語音權威與語言教學名家組成,有:國際音標創(chuàng)始人之一Daniel Jones、英語語音權威A.Lloyd James、來華傳教士以及后來的齊魯大學創(chuàng)始人倫敦大學東方學院教授卜道成(J.Percy Bruce),先后就讀于北京大學、倫敦大學并在亞非學院執(zhí)教終身的愛德華茲教授(E.Dora Edwards),受在華傳教士推薦、赴英任教的中國講師舒慶春(老舍)。第三章分析該書的語音教學!堆哉Z聲片》主張“聽說領先”,其拼音方案,采用國際嚴式音標,代替了當時流傳廣泛的威妥瑪拼音系統(tǒng),并在參照趙元任《國語留聲機教程》拼音系統(tǒng)的基礎上,根據(jù)英國本土學生的特點加以改進。對漢語聲、韻、調系統(tǒng)描寫詳細,使用學生較為熟悉的歐美語言進行漢語語音的對比講解,還注意到了漢語語音的音樂性,總結漢語語流中變調、兒化、輕聲的規(guī)律。第四章梳理分析教材詞匯、語法教學。詞匯、語法教學循序漸進,詞匯選擇豐富實用,注重得體,具有鮮明的時代特征和文化特征。但還是存在詞匯量較大,復現(xiàn)率不高的缺點。教材使用詞匯教學帶動語法教學,多采用英語語法詮釋漢語規(guī)則,使學生更易理解和接受。第五章分析闡述《言語聲片》的漢字教學。教材重視漢字造字法、筆畫筆順和部首教學,但教材的漢字教學缺乏系統(tǒng)性,依舊處于語言教學的從屬地位。第六章為基本評價,《言語聲片》是倫敦大學第一部由英中兩國學者合作編寫的初級漢語教材,是英國本土第一次使用留聲機進行語言教學的嘗試,體例較為周全,編排較為新穎,使用較為方便,是20世紀20年代末一套比較優(yōu)秀的初級漢語口語教材。
[Abstract]:The research object of this paper is the Oriental School of Oriental Studies of the University of London in 1920s. University of London. a Chinese textbook, "speech Sound Film", co-authored by English and Chinese teachers (. Linguaphone Oriental Language course: Chinese. Simple and easy to understand, comprehensive training of students to listen, speak, read, write skills, is a more mature Chinese and foreign compilation of a foreign language teaching materials. This article according to the teaching order of analysis, divided into the following six chapters: the first chapter is an introduction. This paper summarizes the research object, research significance and research status, introduces the theory, method and source of the corpus. The second chapter summarizes the content of the book and the background of the book. Its compilation team is composed of voice authority and language teaching experts, including Daniel Jones, one of the founders of the International phonetic Alphabet, and A. Lloyd James, the English phonetic authority. J. Percy Bruce, a professor at the Oriental School of London University and later the founder of Qilu University, studied at Peking University. Professor E. Dora Edwards, a lifelong professor at the University of London and a professor at the Asian-African Academy, was recommended by missionaries in China. Shu Qingchun (Lao She), a Chinese lecturer who went to the UK to teach. Chapter 3 analyzes the phonetic teaching of the book. "speech sound film" advocates "listening and speaking ahead", and its phonetic scheme adopts the International strict phonetic Alphabet. Instead of the popular Wade Pinyin system at that time, and on the basis of referring to Zhao Yuanren phonetic phonetic system, according to the characteristics of English students to improve the Chinese sound, rhyme. Detailed description of the tone system, the use of the students more familiar with the European and American languages for the comparative interpretation of Chinese pronunciation, but also notes the musicality of Chinese pronunciation, summed up the Chinese language in the flow of tone change, Pediaturization. Chapter 4th combs and analyzes the teaching materials vocabulary, grammar teaching, vocabulary, grammar teaching step by step, vocabulary selection rich and practical, pay attention to appropriateness. With distinctive characteristics of the times and culture, however, there are still a large vocabulary, the recurrence rate is not high. Teaching materials use vocabulary teaching to promote grammar teaching, English grammar interpretation of Chinese rules. In chapter 5th, the teaching of Chinese characters is analyzed and elaborated. The teaching materials attach importance to the teaching of Chinese characters, strokes, strokes and radicals, but the teaching of Chinese characters in textbooks is lack of systematicness. It is still in the subordinate position of language teaching. Chapter 6th is the basic evaluation. Speech sound film is the first primary Chinese textbook compiled by English and Chinese scholars at the University of London. It is the first attempt to use phonograph in English language teaching. It is a set of excellent primary spoken Chinese teaching materials in 1920s, which is more comprehensive in style, more novel in arrangement and more convenient to use.
