【摘要】：在文學翻譯活動中,譯者首先要作為一名讀者面對作者以及作者的創(chuàng)造物,所以,用一種什么樣的態(tài)度來看待作者及其創(chuàng)造物就顯得尤為重要了,這就需要對文藝批評界關(guān)于作者及其創(chuàng)造物的認識發(fā)展有一個系統(tǒng)的研究。只有如此,才能了解作者及其創(chuàng)造物地位的演變與發(fā)展,對各種研究的進步與不足有一個總體認識,進而指導翻譯實踐。 在本文中,筆者首先介紹了作者及文本地位的演變。作為創(chuàng)造者的作者一開始擁有著無可置疑的權(quán)威地位,他的意圖被當做理解的終極目標,但是,隨著結(jié)構(gòu)主義語言學的建立,其創(chuàng)造物也開始被作為可以單獨存在的文本來解讀,作者的地位受到了巨大沖擊。其后,解構(gòu)主義思潮到來。在羅蘭·巴特、福柯和德里達等人的“作者死亡”論調(diào)下,作者跌下了神壇,文本成為了各種意義的源泉,讀者則成為了理解的唯一主體。這一劇變,在給人們帶來強烈的震撼的同時,也引發(fā)了人們對于作者及其創(chuàng)造物在閱讀、翻譯過程中的地位進行重新思考。因為如此下去,人們將會陷入無法溝通的尷尬境地。 為了重新建構(gòu)對意義的理解,筆者借用以普遍語用學為理論基礎(chǔ)的建構(gòu)主義翻譯學分析了各種流派的缺陷與局限性,從理論上提出了要重新認識作者及文本的地位：在文學翻譯活動中,作者需要復活,文本也需要回歸。
