【摘要】：典故傳承著中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化訊息,唐詩(shī)中典故的豐富運(yùn)用為其帶來(lái)厚重的文化積淀。因此,如何翻譯唐詩(shī)中典故不僅是中國(guó)古典文學(xué)翻譯的課題之一,更是傳播中國(guó)特色文化的重要途經(jīng)。 本文以定量分析為出發(fā)點(diǎn),從賓納與許淵沖各自翻譯的《唐詩(shī)三百首》中提取兩者重合翻譯的八十三首,以此建立了漢語(yǔ)與兩個(gè)英語(yǔ)譯文的平行語(yǔ)料庫(kù),即賓納的英譯本以及許淵沖的英譯本與漢語(yǔ)詩(shī)文的平行語(yǔ)料庫(kù)。在此基礎(chǔ)上通過(guò)定性分析的方法對(duì)83首唐詩(shī)中的124個(gè)典故按其來(lái)源進(jìn)行分類,并從兩譯本中隨機(jī)抽取了45個(gè)典故及其譯文進(jìn)行對(duì)比和分析,最終總結(jié)出賓納與許淵沖各自譯本在翻譯唐詩(shī)典故中的策略傾向。此項(xiàng)研究旨在探索典故翻譯應(yīng)該采取的策略及方法。 該研究表明,對(duì)于涉及中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化的典故,兩為譯者均采取了歸化、異化等多種翻譯策略,但是在傾向性上有著很大不同。該研究用統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)方法證明了賓納與許淵沖在典故翻譯策略選擇上存在明顯差異。
