【摘要】：二十世紀(jì)九十年代翻譯研究文化轉(zhuǎn)向后,西方翻譯學(xué)者們開始從不同的視角關(guān)注到意識(shí)形態(tài)操控翻譯的普遍性。意識(shí)形態(tài)操控翻譯,從宏觀角度體現(xiàn)了翻譯作為跨文化實(shí)踐活動(dòng),不可避免地要受到譯入語國(guó)家社會(huì)文化的影響。從微觀方面意識(shí)形態(tài)將影響譯者的選材、翻譯目的、翻譯策略甚至譯者的語言風(fēng)格乃至措辭。本研究以意識(shí)形態(tài)為研究視角,結(jié)合郭沫若翻譯的雪萊詩(shī)歌,探討意識(shí)形態(tài)與翻譯的關(guān)系。 文章通過郭沫若翻譯雪萊詩(shī)歌的實(shí)例試圖證明主流意識(shí)形態(tài)與個(gè)人意識(shí)形態(tài)共同影響翻譯實(shí)踐,找出影響郭沫若翻譯實(shí)踐的綜合社會(huì)政治因素。論文正文共分四章,引言部分簡(jiǎn)介論文的理論研究背景、研究的目的、意義以及研究方法和論文結(jié)構(gòu);第一章回顧西方翻譯研究中意識(shí)形態(tài)操縱翻譯的理論發(fā)展脈絡(luò)及研究現(xiàn)狀,以及國(guó)內(nèi)關(guān)于意識(shí)形態(tài)與翻譯的研究現(xiàn)狀,并且簡(jiǎn)要介紹了郭沫若的翻譯實(shí)踐,回顧了國(guó)內(nèi)對(duì)郭沫若與翻譯的相關(guān)研究;第二章介紹意識(shí)形態(tài)操控翻譯實(shí)踐的理論框架,闡釋了“意識(shí)形態(tài)”的定義,并對(duì)主流意識(shí)形態(tài)和個(gè)人意識(shí)形態(tài)這倆種類型的意識(shí)形態(tài)進(jìn)行了具體分析,而且也探討了意識(shí)形態(tài)與翻譯的關(guān)系;第三章主要是對(duì)譯者與作者的介紹。文章首先探討了郭沫若的人生經(jīng)歷及其翻譯思想,也介紹了雪萊的人生經(jīng)歷及其詩(shī)歌創(chuàng)作,然后主要對(duì)雪萊的兩首具有代表性的抒情詩(shī)做了簡(jiǎn)要介紹,為下一章的實(shí)例分析做相關(guān)鋪墊;第四章是本論文的重點(diǎn),主要介紹意識(shí)形態(tài)對(duì)譯者翻譯行為的操控,通過實(shí)例分析揭示意識(shí)形態(tài)是如何影響郭沫若的翻譯選材、翻譯目的及其翻譯策略的。 最后結(jié)論指出,無論是在翻譯之前還是在翻譯過程中,意識(shí)形態(tài)都在有形地或是無形地發(fā)揮著操控作用。處于不同時(shí)代的譯者,對(duì)譯本的選擇和他的翻譯策略都不是隨意而為之,其目的的背后或是為了迎合主流意識(shí)形態(tài)或是為了實(shí)現(xiàn)譯者個(gè)人意識(shí)形態(tài)。當(dāng)然反過來,譯作也能夠通過文本形式以及措辭積極作用于主流意識(shí)形態(tài)與譯者個(gè)人意識(shí)形態(tài)。從意識(shí)形態(tài)視角來研究翻譯旨在將翻譯從“絕對(duì)對(duì)等翻譯”的空想中解放出來,注重譯者和譯本的歷時(shí)性,給予譯者和他的翻譯實(shí)踐以客觀或相對(duì)客觀的觀察和研究,從而更清楚地把握翻譯的本質(zhì)和翻譯活動(dòng)的復(fù)雜性,進(jìn)而為翻譯研究和翻譯批評(píng)開拓新的視角。
