從語際翻譯中看漢語古典詩歌翻譯的抗譯性及策略性叛逆

【摘要】: 詩歌是文學(xué)的最高形式。精煉簡(jiǎn)雋的語言,委婉游離的措辭,深刻而又模糊的內(nèi)容,強(qiáng)烈的感情,巧妙傳神的修辭手法,以及鮮明的節(jié)奏和韻律是詩歌的顯著特征。華夏古典詩歌歷史悠長(zhǎng),綿延近三千年之久。 翻譯漢語古典詩歌殊為不易,諸多國內(nèi)外學(xué)者和譯者投身于困難詩歌翻譯事業(yè),他們的翻譯歷程將繼續(xù)開展下去。頗有爭(zhēng)議的可譯性研究是研究漢語古典詩歌翻譯的前提。本文首先大致介紹詩歌的性質(zhì),特征,,以及對(duì)詩歌翻譯的初步理解。然后論述詩歌難譯,難在幾乎不可能完全尋求風(fēng)格,語境的功能對(duì)等,譯詩難,難在譯文不能完全體現(xiàn)原文的形美,音美和意美。從而作者提出詩歌翻譯的抗譯性這一概念。緊接著作者回顧了當(dāng)前學(xué)者對(duì)詩歌翻譯的研究狀況,對(duì)不可譯的研究觀點(diǎn)作出引述,對(duì)可譯性學(xué)派的觀點(diǎn)作出概括。從而在翻譯的相對(duì)性基礎(chǔ)上再次論述詩歌翻譯的抗譯性的存在。 詩歌的特性以及其翻譯標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的主觀性限制了譯者的翻譯自由空間,鮮明的中英語言差異是漢語古典詩歌翻譯幾乎不可逾越的屏障。語言的異質(zhì)性在詩歌翻譯中具體體現(xiàn)在語音,語法和修辭三個(gè)方面。詩歌措辭的不確定性和詩意的模糊性導(dǎo)致了詩人和譯者之間的隔離。文化差異是詩歌翻譯抗譯性的另外一個(gè)重要原因,漢語古典詩歌蘊(yùn)涵豐富的典故,國俗語義詞,雙關(guān)詞,這些都造成詩歌翻譯的抗譯性。通過對(duì)一些前人譯作的詳細(xì)分析,本文從語言和文化等方面對(duì)詩歌翻譯的抗譯性做出細(xì)致闡述。 既然中英語言,文化有著鮮明的差異,在詩歌翻譯中,產(chǎn)生翻譯的叛逆就在所難免。譯者本身也對(duì)詩歌翻譯質(zhì)量有深遠(yuǎn)的影響。本文把詩歌翻譯的叛逆分為無意識(shí)的叛逆,關(guān)照性的叛逆和創(chuàng)造性的叛逆三種形式,并輔以例證加以論述。從語言文化功能方面來說,創(chuàng)造性叛逆對(duì)于中外文化交流是非常的有價(jià)值的。 在本文的結(jié)束篇,作者闡述了對(duì)詩歌翻譯中抗譯性的繼續(xù)研究的重要性,并提出了語言方面的抗譯等同與不可譯,而文化方面的抗譯只是相對(duì)的和暫時(shí)的不可譯的觀點(diǎn),最后,本文分析了詩歌翻譯中抗譯性與可譯性在語言與文化方面的動(dòng)態(tài)關(guān)系。
[Abstract]:Poetry is the highest form of literature. Refined and concise language, euphemism and drift, profound and vague content, strong feelings, ingenious rhetorical devices, and distinct rhythm and rhythm are the remarkable features of poetry. Chinese classical poetry has a long history of nearly three thousand years. Translation of classical Chinese poetry is not easy. Many scholars and translators at home and abroad devote themselves to difficult poetry translation, and their translation process will continue. The controversial study of translatability is the premise of studying the translation of Chinese classical poetry. This paper first introduces the nature and characteristics of poetry, as well as the preliminary understanding of poetry translation. Then it is discussed that it is almost impossible to find out the style, the functional equivalence of context, the difficulty of translating poetry, and the fact that the translation cannot fully reflect the beauty of form, sound and meaning of the original text. Therefore, the author puts forward the concept of anti-translatability in poetry translation. Then the author reviews the current research situation of poetry translation, quotes the untranslatable point of view, and generalizes the views of translatability school. On the basis of the relativity of translation, the author discusses the existence of anti-translatability in poetry translation. The characteristics of poetry and the subjectivity of its translation criteria restrict the translator's freedom of translation. The distinct differences between Chinese and English languages are almost insurmountable barriers for the translation of Chinese classical poetry. The heterogeneity of language in poetry translation is embodied in three aspects: phonetics, grammar and rhetoric. The uncertainty of poetic wording and the vagueness of poetic meaning lead to the separation between poet and translator. Cultural differences are another important reason for the anti-translatability of poetry translation. Classical Chinese poetry contains rich allusions, idioms and puns, all of which contribute to the anti-translatability of poetry translation. Through the detailed analysis of some previous translations, this paper makes a detailed exposition on the translation resistance of poetry translation from the aspects of language and culture. Since there are distinct differences between Chinese and English cultures, it is inevitable to produce traitorous translation in poetry translation. The translator himself has a profound influence on the quality of poetry translation. This paper divides the treason of poetry translation into three forms: unconscious treason, considerate treason and creative treason. From the aspect of language and culture function, creative treason is very valuable for Chinese and foreign cultural communication. At the end of this thesis, the author expounds the importance of continuing to study the anti-translatability in poetry translation, and puts forward the point of view that the anti-translatability in language is equivalent to and untranslatable, while the cultural anti-translatability is only relative and temporary. This paper analyzes the dynamic relationship between translatability and translatability in poetry translation in terms of language and culture.
