【摘要】：傳統(tǒng)的翻譯理論認為翻譯是不同語言之間的信息轉(zhuǎn)換,因此,翻譯家們在從事翻譯活動時應(yīng)該排除一切主觀因素的干擾,完全忠實地再現(xiàn)原文,避免信息傳遞的不準確。然而,1990年,蘇珊.巴斯內(nèi)特和安德烈.勒菲弗爾第一次提出了翻譯研究的“文化轉(zhuǎn)向”,認為翻譯是復(fù)雜的跨文化交際活動。由此,翻譯研究者們開始把目光轉(zhuǎn)向影響翻譯的外部因素,從文化、歷史、意識形態(tài)等新的角度來研究翻譯。 作為“文化學派”的重要代表人物,勒菲弗爾提出了著名的改寫理論,并且全面系統(tǒng)地論述了影響翻譯的三因素,即意識形態(tài)、贊助人和詩學觀。其中,最重要的因素是意識形態(tài)。他認為,意識形態(tài)分為譯者當時所處社會的主流意識形態(tài)和譯者個人的意識形態(tài)。意識形態(tài)會影響譯者對原文本和翻譯策略的選擇,譯本被目標語言的讀者接受的程度。因此,在不同時代,不同文化和歷史背景下,不同的譯者會有不同的意識形態(tài),從而導(dǎo)致了不同譯作之間的差異。 本文基于勒菲弗爾的改寫理論,選取了美國作家米歇爾的著作Gone with the Wind的兩個中譯本,分別是傅東華于1940所譯的《飄》和1990年陳良廷譯的《亂世佳人》.通過比較兩位譯者對翻譯文本和翻譯策略的選擇,對原著細節(jié)的處理來分析兩個不同時代的中文譯本,論證了這兩個不同時代中文譯本的差異是意識形態(tài)對翻譯影響的展現(xiàn)。 因此,在分析譯本時,要充分考慮譯本的時代背景和譯者個人的意識形態(tài),不同時代的譯本均會打上時代的印記。本文作者無意對譯本的優(yōu)劣做出評價,只是通過比較同一著作兩個時期的不同譯本來證明意識形態(tài)對翻譯的影響。
[Abstract]:The traditional translation theory holds that translation is the information conversion between different languages. Therefore, translators should eliminate all subjective factors in their translation activities, reproduce the original text faithfully and avoid the inaccuracy of information transmission. However, in 1990, Susan. Basnet and Andre. For the first time, Lefevere put forward the cultural turn in translation studies, arguing that translation is a complex cross-cultural communicative activity. As a result, translation researchers have turned their eyes to the external factors that affect translation, studying translation from new perspectives such as culture, history, ideology and so on. As an important representative of the "cultural school", Lefevere put forward the famous rewriting theory, and comprehensively and systematically discussed the three factors that affect translation, namely ideology, patronage and poetics. Among them, the most important factor is ideology. He argues that ideology is divided into the mainstream ideology of the society in which the translator lived at that time and the individual ideology of the translator. Ideology will affect the translator's choice of the original text and translation strategy, and the extent to which the target language readers accept the translation. Therefore, in different times, different cultures and historical backgrounds, different translators have different ideologies, which leads to the differences between different translations. Based on Lefevere's rewriting theory, this paper selects two Chinese versions of American writer Michelle's book Gone with the Wind, which are translated by Fu Donghua in 1940 and Chen Liangting in 1990. By comparing the two translators' choice of translation texts and translation strategies, the author analyzes the Chinese versions of the two different times by dealing with the details of the original works, and proves that the differences between the two Chinese versions of the two different times are the manifestation of the influence of ideology on translation. Therefore, in the analysis of the translation, we should take into account the background of the era and the translator's individual ideology, and the versions of different times will bear the mark of the times. The author has no intention of evaluating the merits and demerits of the translation, but only proves the influence of ideology on translation by comparing the different versions of the two periods of the same work.
