本論文應(yīng)用文本互文性及相關(guān)理論對(duì)美國當(dāng)代劇作家托尼·庫什勒的劇作《天使在美國》中與圣經(jīng)，歷史及其他文學(xué)作品的“交織”現(xiàn)象作了深入的分析和探索。通過對(duì)互文的分析，本文旨在解釋庫什勒關(guān)于道德問題和歷史進(jìn)程關(guān)系間的思考。他認(rèn)為例如，愛，責(zé)任和寬恕，這些道德價(jià)值觀念是蘊(yùn)含且超越任意文本，重新肯定和確認(rèn)這些價(jià)值觀念在美國現(xiàn)代社會(huì)中的地位是推動(dòng)歷史進(jìn)步的真正動(dòng)力。 本論文共分為四個(gè)章節(jié)。第一章是文獻(xiàn)綜述。這一部分我總結(jié)了前人對(duì)這部劇作的研究，且回顧了文本互文性的理論發(fā)展歷程。整篇論文的理論框架建立在巴赫金的對(duì)話理論和克里斯蒂娃在此基礎(chǔ)上發(fā)展的互文性理論。在第二章中，我分析了劇作與圣經(jīng)文本間的互相交織。第三章集中研究劇作與歷史文本間的關(guān)系。第四章的重點(diǎn)在劇作與西方文學(xué)作品的關(guān)系。 在美國以及西方現(xiàn)代社會(huì)面臨精神和道德危機(jī)的時(shí)候，庫什勒提出對(duì)傳統(tǒng)觀念的回歸和重新確立。這種肯定的態(tài)度是對(duì)當(dāng)前所倡導(dǎo)的后現(xiàn)代性的顛覆和懷疑一切的一種強(qiáng)烈沖擊。這種重新審視傳統(tǒng)的態(tài)度對(duì)文化發(fā)展趨勢(shì)有著積極的影響。
