評(píng)價(jià)理論是在二十世紀(jì)九十年代初由James R．Martin在系統(tǒng)功能語(yǔ)言學(xué)的框架里發(fā)展起來(lái)的。評(píng)價(jià)理論以賦值語(yǔ)義為中心，研究作者／說(shuō)話者如何與持相同觀點(diǎn)者聯(lián)合，與持不同觀點(diǎn)者保持距離。評(píng)價(jià)理論包括三大次系統(tǒng)：態(tài)度、介入和級(jí)差。本文主要應(yīng)用態(tài)度系統(tǒng)分析小說(shuō)《傲慢與偏見(jiàn)》中主人公伊麗莎白與達(dá)西的對(duì)話，從而揭示兩者的情感轉(zhuǎn)變過(guò)程。 本文首先介紹了小說(shuō)中的話語(yǔ)交流層次。小說(shuō)中人物的對(duì)話位于話語(yǔ)交流的最底層，是人物交流的主要手段。人物之間可以通過(guò)對(duì)話傳遞信息，同時(shí)，對(duì)話中也暗含著對(duì)話人對(duì)對(duì)方的態(tài)度。其次，筆者從社會(huì)語(yǔ)境和態(tài)度系統(tǒng)兩方面對(duì)《傲慢與偏見(jiàn)》中的三段對(duì)話進(jìn)行分析。從社會(huì)語(yǔ)境角度的分析是從宏觀上對(duì)小說(shuō)的梳理，包括從語(yǔ)場(chǎng)、語(yǔ)旨和語(yǔ)勢(shì)三個(gè)方面的分析。三段對(duì)話的態(tài)度分析是本文的主體。態(tài)度系統(tǒng)的三個(gè)子系統(tǒng)（情感、判斷和鑒賞）是分析態(tài)度的主要工具。 通過(guò)對(duì)三段對(duì)話在詞匯層面上的分析，筆者發(fā)現(xiàn)伊麗莎白和達(dá)西之間的情感轉(zhuǎn)變過(guò)程經(jīng)歷了不理解、相互理解，相互欣賞直至墜入愛(ài)河。同時(shí)我們發(fā)現(xiàn)，評(píng)價(jià)理論，尤其是態(tài)度系統(tǒng)，對(duì)理解和欣賞文學(xué)語(yǔ)篇有很大的幫助，從而為文學(xué)語(yǔ)篇的理解和欣賞提供了新的視角。
