童話在兒童的生活中發(fā)揮著重要的作用。作為一種文體,像小說一樣童話屬于虛構小說。但是從接受者的角度來說,毫無疑問童話是為兒童而創(chuàng)作而短篇小說是為成年人而創(chuàng)作�；诮邮苷叩牟煌�,童話和短篇小說在文體特征方面可能有不同的地方。本文將從韓禮德系統(tǒng)功能語言學的及物性系統(tǒng)方面對童話和短篇小說進行文體分析。及物性把世界經(jīng)驗用不同類型的物質過程來表示。本文使用描述和比較的方法從系統(tǒng)功能語言學的及物性角度對五篇童話和五篇短篇小說進行分析以揭示英語童話的文體特征和什么樣的童話更適合兒童。分析的第一步是識別五篇童話和五篇小說中各自的及物性過程類型。然后對六類過程在童話和短篇小說中的頻率分布分別進行分析。之后將對童話和短篇小說中每個過程的頻率分布進行仔細研究。最后對童話和短篇小說的及物性特征進行對比以分析童話中的突出特征是否被前景化了。分析結果表明童話中的物質過程比短篇小說分布多,而心理過程和關系過程比短篇小說分布少。在物質過程方面,在童話中帶有目標的物質過程比在小說中更有影響力。在心理過程方面,童話中感覺心理過程比短篇小說中分布多,認知和情感心理過程比小說中分布少。童話中表示心理過程的動詞比較容易理解,并且...
