人的異化：海明威短篇小說研究

海明威是二十世紀美國知名作家和杰出文體家,1954年諾貝爾文學獎得主。他作品中的硬漢人物以及他獨特的文體風格使他的小說受到無數(shù)讀者青睞。同樣道理,海明威在學術界也是人們寵愛的明星。海明威研究成為二十世紀文學研究領域的一道獨特風景線,研究海明威的文章和專著在數(shù)量上已遠遠超過海明威的原作。 對于海明威的作品,以前研究重心在他的長篇和中篇小說,對他短篇小說的研究相對薄弱。近年來他的短篇小說逐漸受到學術界重視,研究也越來越深入。但在我國,人們很少從人的異化這一視角出發(fā)研究海明威短篇小說。本文從人的異化角度出發(fā)研究海明威短篇小說的主題,本文認為人的異化是海明威短篇小說的重要主題。這一點和海明威獨特的人生經(jīng)歷以及海明威生活時代的文化背景分不開。戰(zhàn)爭的創(chuàng)傷、作家兼記者的身份、幾次婚變、廣泛的旅行再加上第一次世界大戰(zhàn)后迷惘的一代精神世界的荒原、所有這一切使海明威對人類異化的精神困境有很深體會并在作品中表現(xiàn)出來。 本文認為海明威短篇小說表現(xiàn)了三種類型的人的異化:人和上帝關系的異化—人的信仰危機;人際關系的異化—人的生存困境;人與自然關系的異化—人對自然的疏遠。海明威在短篇小說中探討了人的異化...
