簡(jiǎn)．奧斯丁是18世紀(jì)末杰出的英國(guó)女小說(shuō)家，同時(shí)也是英國(guó)文學(xué)史上第一個(gè)重要的女作家。作為一個(gè)女作家，奧斯丁通過(guò)對(duì)女性一系列問(wèn)題的研究，提出了女性意識(shí)。她作品中的女主人公不同于以往作品的描寫(xiě)，給人以全新的形象。深受任何時(shí)代讀者的喜歡。 本文探討了簡(jiǎn)．奧斯丁作為文學(xué)女權(quán)主義先鋒的古樸表現(xiàn)，并對(duì)照其早期和后期的主要作品《傲慢與偏見(jiàn)》和《勸導(dǎo)》，看奧斯丁女權(quán)意識(shí)之發(fā)展。從其社會(huì)、經(jīng)濟(jì)及生活背景等看奧斯丁女性意識(shí)產(chǎn)生的可能根源，并通過(guò)作品分析奧斯丁不言而喻的女性意識(shí)。
