譚恩美《喜福會(huì)》中華裔女性自我的重構(gòu)

譚恩美在當(dāng)今華裔作家中享有很高的聲望。她的五部小說(shuō):《喜福會(huì)》(1989),《灶神之妻》(1991),《百種神秘感覺》(1995),《接骨師之女》(2001)和《拯救溺水之魚》(2005)受到批評(píng)者的高度評(píng)價(jià),同時(shí)也深受廣大讀者的歡迎。本文旨在運(yùn)用后殖民女性主義的理論分析譚恩美的處女作《喜福會(huì)》中女性自我的重構(gòu)。后殖民女性主義認(rèn)為第三世界女性深受雙重壓迫。一方面,她們?cè)谧谥鲊?guó)受到種族歧視;另一方面,她們又遭受根深蒂固的性別歧視。她們的存在被邊緣化,甚至被忽視。在《喜福會(huì)》這部小說(shuō)中,不論是母親還是女兒都在一定程度上喪失了自我。然而,《喜福會(huì)》中的女性并不甘愿被動(dòng)接受這種屈辱的狀態(tài),她們主動(dòng)去爭(zhēng)取改變被邊緣化的狀況。在作品中,母親們主要從過去的記憶中得到力量,同時(shí)也給女兒帶來(lái)精神上的鼓舞。女兒們?cè)诮?jīng)歷了同化過程中的辛酸和痛苦之后,最終開始認(rèn)同母親,并靜下心來(lái)傾聽母親的故事,從而接受中國(guó)文化。這樣,母女都重新找回了自我,并實(shí)現(xiàn)了種族和性別身份的重構(gòu)。譚恩美在《喜福會(huì)》中還描繪了兩代母女之間的情感聯(lián)系。對(duì)于老一輩的母親和女兒,母女的聯(lián)系植根于血液之中,母女在空間上的分離無(wú)法抹去女兒心中對(duì)母親...
