《呼嘯山莊》中的自我觀

自艾米莉·勃朗特的唯一一本小說《呼嘯山莊》出版以來,它就倍受爭議。各種不同流派的批評家對這部小說進行了不同的闡釋。其中,心理批評家們所作出的批評被認為是最具有說服力的。有些心理批評家們運用弗洛伊德夢的原理對其中的夢進行了分析,從而分析其中人物的心理。另外一些則用他的有關(guān)“自我”及卡爾·古斯塔夫·榮格的“自我”理論來探討其中三個主要人物(凱瑟琳、希斯克厲夫及愛得加)的性格及關(guān)系!白晕摇边@個話題,是個古老而年輕的話:它古老是因為這個話題可以說從有了人類文明,它就出現(xiàn)了,并且一直被討論著。它年輕是因為在各個時代,“自我”的定義各不相同。各時代的人們對于如何實現(xiàn)“自我”也看法不一。但無論怎么不相同,杰羅德·西格爾認為在不同之處,這些對“自我”的不同看法還是存在著相同之處的:“自我”的意識是來自于對“同一性”的認識。對“自我”所進行的談?wù)摱际菑娜怏w性、關(guān)系性及反思性三方面來進行的,目的都是為實現(xiàn)自我找到一種方法。本文在杰羅德·西格爾的結(jié)論的基礎(chǔ)上,對《呼嘯山莊》中的“自我觀”作了試探性的研究。在對西方文化中特別是浪漫主義時期的“自我觀”進行了簡單的回顧后,本文對《呼嘯山莊》中的“自我”進行了分...
