《紅字》中前景化語言特征的文體分析

【摘要】:本文從文體學(xué)中前景化理論角度分析了納撒尼爾.霍桑的代表作《紅字》。根據(jù)調(diào)查,早期關(guān)于《紅字》的研究花樣繁多。許多學(xué)者從不同的視角對(duì)《紅字》進(jìn)行研究,有的學(xué)者對(duì)小說主題進(jìn)行探討,有的學(xué)者把《紅字》與國內(nèi)外許多作品進(jìn)行了比較研究。還有針對(duì)《紅字》譯本的研究。只有及少數(shù)學(xué)者從創(chuàng)作風(fēng)格入手,卻通常局限在文學(xué)文體學(xué)的層面,比如研究作品的景物意象,作品情節(jié)與圣經(jīng)原型等。本文的創(chuàng)新之處在于以文體學(xué)為理論基礎(chǔ),結(jié)合相關(guān)語言學(xué)知識(shí),展示和分析《紅字》中前景化語言現(xiàn)象。 前景化理論是目前文體學(xué)領(lǐng)域的熱門話題。語言的前景化可以通過兩種方式來實(shí)現(xiàn),即過分規(guī)則化和偏離。本文采用了定量和定性分析相結(jié)合的方法,從文體學(xué)角度分析了《紅字》不同層面的偏離和過分規(guī)則化現(xiàn)象。 論文通過對(duì)《紅字》的前景化語言特征進(jìn)行描述、闡釋和評(píng)價(jià),作者總結(jié)出了霍桑的獨(dú)特寫作風(fēng)格。在《紅字》中,,語言的前景化現(xiàn)象幾乎存在于每個(gè)層面,例如,語音,詞匯,句法和語義層面等等。其中過分規(guī)則化現(xiàn)象是最突出的風(fēng)格。作者使用了大量的重復(fù)和排比句式,給《紅字》增添了氣勢(shì)和色彩,同時(shí)栩栩如生的刻畫了人物形象。這樣,讀者可以享受到潛意識(shí)中與作品人物交流的樂趣,還可以自如的欣賞到作品的語言美。
[Abstract]:This paper analyzes Nathaniel from the perspective of foresight theory in stylistics. Hawthorne's masterpiece the Scarlet letter. According to the survey, early studies on the scarlet letter are numerous. Many scholars have studied the Scarlet letter from different perspectives, some scholars have discussed the theme of the novel, and some scholars have compared the Scarlet letter with many works at home and abroad. There is also a study of the translation of the Scarlet letter. Only a few scholars start with their creative styles, but they are usually confined to the level of literary stylistics, such as the study of scene images, plot and biblical archetypes, etc. The innovation of this paper lies in the theoretical basis of stylistics, combining with the relevant linguistic knowledge, to display and analyze the foresight language phenomenon in the Scarlet letter. The theory of foresight is a hot topic in the field of stylistics at present. The foresight of language can be achieved in two ways, that is, excessive regularization and deviation. In this paper, a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis is used to analyze the deviation and excessive regularization in different aspects of the scarlet letter from the perspective of stylistics. By describing, explaining and evaluating the anticipatory language features of the scarlet letter, the author summarizes Hawthorne's unique writing style. In Scarlet letter, the foresight of language exists at almost every level, for example, phonology, vocabulary, syntax and semantics, and so on. Among them, excessive regularization is the most prominent style. The author uses a large number of repetition and parallelism patterns to add momentum and color to the Scarlet letter and to depict the characters vividly at the same time. In this way, the reader can enjoy the subconscious communication with the characters, but also enjoy the language beauty of the work.
