【摘要】：夏洛特·珀爾金斯·吉爾曼既是美國著名的小說家又是女權(quán)運動的先驅(qū)。她積極投身于社會改良運動,為女性主義事業(yè)奮斗終身�？墒撬幕橐霾⒉恍腋�,女兒出生后,她就患上了嚴(yán)重的產(chǎn)后抑郁癥,于是在當(dāng)時接受了著名的美國心理醫(yī)生米歇爾博士的“休息療法”。小說《黃色墻紙》就是取材于她自己的親身經(jīng)歷,講述著一位知識女性深受父權(quán)社會禁錮和壓迫,最終被逼向瘋癲狀態(tài)的故事。 本文以女性主義文學(xué)批評解讀《黃色墻紙》。根據(jù)美國女性主義批評家伊萊恩·肖沃爾特的觀點,女性主義文學(xué)批評可以很清楚地表現(xiàn)出兩大形態(tài)：女性的閱讀和女性的創(chuàng)作。基于這種分類,本論文從女性的閱讀和女性的創(chuàng)作視角分析《黃色墻紙》,揭示父權(quán)社會里男性對女性的壓迫,試圖喚醒女性的自我意識,從而使女性獲得自由。 本論文為四個章節(jié)。 第一章是引言。主要介紹了小說作者吉爾曼的生平,《黃色墻紙》的主要內(nèi)容以及本論文的研究意義和研究目的。 第二章是文獻(xiàn)綜述。主要介紹女性主義文學(xué)批評以及其所表現(xiàn)的兩大形態(tài)：女性的閱讀和女性的創(chuàng)作。同時還介紹和評論國內(nèi)外知名學(xué)者對《黃色墻紙》的研究。但是前人很少從女性的閱讀和女性的創(chuàng)作視角分析小說,所以本論文開始同時從這兩個角度探討《黃色墻紙》。 第三章主要從女性的閱讀和女性的創(chuàng)作角度探討《黃色墻紙》。女性的閱讀包括其他女性對《黃色墻紙》的閱讀以及吉爾曼對小說中“休息療法”的閱讀。女性的創(chuàng)作,本論文基于小說中兩種女性角色的分析,探討吉爾曼的創(chuàng)作《黃色墻紙》,并總結(jié)出她的《黃色墻紙》創(chuàng)作特點。 第四章是全文的總結(jié)。指出本論文的研究成果和意義以及本論文的不足。
[Abstract]:Charlotte Perkins Gilman is not only a famous American novelist but also a pioneer of feminist movement. She actively devoted herself to the social reform movement and fought for the cause of feminism all her life. However, her marriage was not happy. After her daughter was born, she suffered from severe postpartum depression and then accepted the "rest therapy" of famous American psychiatrist Dr. Michelle. The novel "Yellow wallpaper" is based on her own personal experience, which tells the story of a intellectual woman who was imprisoned and oppressed by the patriarchal society, and was finally driven to madness. This paper interprets yellow wallpaper by feminist literary criticism. According to American feminist critic Elaine Shaw, feminist literary criticism can clearly show two main forms: female reading and female writing. Based on this classification, this paper analyzes yellow wallpaper from the perspective of women's reading and creation, reveals the male oppression on women in the patriarchal society, and tries to awaken the self-consciousness of women in order to make women free. This thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter is the introduction. This paper mainly introduces the life of Gilman, the main contents of yellow wallpaper and the significance and purpose of this thesis. The second chapter is the literature review. This paper mainly introduces feminist literary criticism and its two forms: female reading and female creation. At the same time, it also introduces and comments on the research of yellow wallpaper by famous scholars at home and abroad. However, the predecessors seldom analyze the novel from the perspective of women's reading and creation, so this paper begins to discuss yellow wallpaper from these two angles. The third chapter mainly discusses the yellow wallpaper from the perspective of women's reading and women's creation. Women's reading includes other women's reading of yellow wallpaper and Gilman's reading of rest therapy in the novel. Based on the analysis of two kinds of female characters in the novel, this paper discusses Gilman's creation of yellow wallpaper, and summarizes her writing characteristics of yellow wallpaper. The fourth chapter is the summary of the full text. Points out the research results and significance of this paper, as well as the shortcomings of this paper.
