【摘要】：威廉·薩默賽特·毛姆繼承了英國(guó)小說現(xiàn)實(shí)主義的傳統(tǒng),同時(shí)又受時(shí)代影響接受了自然主義的理念。他的作品《人性的枷鎖》就有明顯的自然主義傾向,然而作為現(xiàn)實(shí)主義作家的毛姆,并未局限于傳統(tǒng)自然主義的限制,他的自然主義別具一格,注重簡(jiǎn)明的風(fēng)格以及故事的完整性。 本文擬在探討毛姆自然主義傾向在小說《人性的枷鎖》中的體現(xiàn)。鑒于毛姆對(duì)自然主義的貢獻(xiàn),筆者認(rèn)為毛姆的自然主義創(chuàng)作手法在《人性的枷鎖》創(chuàng)作中雖不夠成熟卻又別具一格,這也是《人性的枷鎖》經(jīng)久不衰的魅力所在。
[Abstract]:William Somerset Maugham inherited the tradition of English fiction realism and accepted naturalism under the influence of the times. His work the shackles of Human Nature has an obvious naturalistic tendency. However, as a realistic writer, Maugham is not limited to the limitations of traditional naturalism, his naturalism is unique. Focus on concise style and integrity of the story. This paper explores the embodiment of Maugham's naturalistic tendencies in the novel the shackles of Human Nature. In view of Maugham's contribution to naturalism, the author thinks that Maugham's naturalism is not mature but unique in the creation of "the yoke of humanity", which is also the enduring charm of "the yoke of humanity".
