【摘要】：伯納德·馬拉默德是二十世紀(jì)美國(guó)著名猶太作家,通過(guò)塑造一系列典型猶太人物形象,為猶太特性的傳播做出了極大的貢獻(xiàn)。馬拉默德在其著作《伙計(jì)》中,成功刻畫了意大利孤兒弗蘭克·阿爾派恩,在雜貨店主猶太人莫里斯·布伯的幫助下,從讓人受苦的搶匪轉(zhuǎn)變成為人受苦的店員這一經(jīng)歷。有別于其他學(xué)者的著述,本論文沒(méi)有費(fèi)過(guò)多筆墨在猶太特性的探究上,而是從歷史視角出發(fā),以摩西五經(jīng)及阿巴·埃班和徐新兩位歷史學(xué)家的著作為依據(jù),系統(tǒng)梳理了猶太人在大流散前的歷史。借鑒美國(guó)宗教學(xué)家雅各布·紐斯納總結(jié)出的猶太歷史“流散與回歸”這一范式,重點(diǎn)剖析了《伙計(jì)》這部小說(shuō)的情節(jié)設(shè)定與猶太歷史的對(duì)應(yīng)與反轉(zhuǎn)。在猶太歷史上,第一圣殿和第二圣殿的建立與毀滅標(biāo)志著猶太民族的流散和回歸。本文借用歷史事件的相應(yīng)名稱,按照歷史時(shí)間發(fā)展順序,將弗蘭克的精神之旅分為四個(gè)階段對(duì)應(yīng)論文的四個(gè)章節(jié),即弗蘭克進(jìn)入和離開應(yīng)許之地,弗蘭克第一次精神流散與回歸,弗蘭克第二次精神流散與回歸,伙計(jì)皈依猶太教及《伙計(jì)》對(duì)猶太歷史的鏡像反射。由于弗蘭克在自我認(rèn)知過(guò)程中,鏡子意象經(jīng)常出現(xiàn),故拉康的鏡像階段理論被用來(lái)解讀弗蘭克精神之旅不同階段的心理變化。
[Abstract]:Bernard Malamud, a famous American Jewish writer in the 20th century, has made great contributions to the dissemination of Jewish characteristics by creating a series of typical Jewish characters.Malamud, in his book Man, successfully portrays the story of an Italian orphan, Frank Alpine, who, with the help of Maurice Buber, the grocer of the grocer, turned from a tormented robber to a suffering shop assistant.Different from the writings of other scholars, this paper does not expend too much on the exploration of Jewish characteristics, but from a historical perspective, based on the works of the five scriptures of Moses and the two historians, Abaheban and Xu Xin.It systematically combs the history of Jews before the great diaspora.Referring to the paradigm of "dispersion and return" of Jewish history, summarized by Jacob Neusner, an American religious scholar, this paper analyzes emphatically the correspondence and reversal between the plot setting and Jewish history of the novel "Man".In Jewish history, the establishment and destruction of the first Temple and the second Temple marked the dispersal and return of the Jewish people.Using the corresponding name of historical events, this paper divides Frank's spiritual journey into four chapters according to the order of historical development, that is, Frank enters and leaves the promised land.Frank's first spiritual dispersion and return, Frank's second spiritual dispersion and return, his conversion to Judaism and the mirrored reflection of the Jewish history.Since the mirror image often appears in the process of Frank's self-cognition, Lacan's theory of mirror stage is used to interpret the psychological changes in different stages of Frank's spiritual journey.
