【摘要】：索爾·貝婁是一位是加拿大出生的美國猶太作家。由于他的文學貢獻,貝婁被授予普利策獎,諾貝爾文學獎,以及美國國家藝術(shù)獎?wù)�。歐內(nèi)斯特·米勒·海明威是美國作家和記者,他的作品簡潔而寓意深刻,這種獨特寫作風格就如同他充滿歷險的人生和公眾形象一樣對二十世紀的小說產(chǎn)生了深刻的影響。。1954年他獲得了諾貝爾文學獎。他的許多作品都是美國文學作品中經(jīng)典之作。在現(xiàn)代美國文學史,海明威和貝婁通常被視為非常有影響力的作家。他們雖然在不同時期進行創(chuàng)作但是都非常重視人類生存這一主題,并反復(fù)出現(xiàn)在他們的作品中,如貝婁的《雨王漢德森》和海明威的《乞力馬扎羅的雪》。這兩本書同時也反映了兩位作者對這個問題的不同態(tài)度。 本文強調(diào)精神在人類生存的重要性,生活中需要有精神支柱。如果喪失了支柱,就會生不如死,毫無意義而言。即使死亡有一天來臨,心中擁有支柱,在死亡中隱藏著生命的含義。 本文共分五部分內(nèi)容。第一章,就前人關(guān)于索爾·貝婁和《雨王漢德森》,歐內(nèi)斯特·海明威和《乞力馬扎羅的雪》的評論以及各種哲學思想對貝婁和海明威的影響；第二章,比較分析哈里和漢德森所面對的身份建立這一問題,顯示兩者間的存在的相同和不同之處；第三章,討論了漢德森成功的原因所在,其中包括了漢德森從一個理想主義者到現(xiàn)實主義者的成功轉(zhuǎn)變,以及對于愛重新的認識,和作者貝婁的個人經(jīng)歷的分析；第四章,重點分析了哈里失敗的原因,主要是從哈里身上所表現(xiàn)的理想主義,個人主義和虛無主義來分析的,以及從他對待死亡的那種消極態(tài)度,和海明威的個人經(jīng)歷中分析其失敗的原因；第五章,本文由此得出這一結(jié)論：當面臨同樣問題時,兩位主人公采取了同樣的辦法,但卻有著不同的結(jié)局,這也揭示了他們在人類存在的態(tài)度上有著根本性的差異。作為作家,盡管海明威作為父輩式的作家,對貝婁的影響以及不同于父輩作家的創(chuàng)新之路,但同時也反應(yīng)出兩位作家各自不同的人生價值觀。
[Abstract]:Saul Bellow is a Canadian-born American Jewish writer.For his literary contributions, Bellow was awarded the Pulitzer Prize, the Nobel Prize for Literature, and the National Medal of Art.Ernest Hans Muller Hemingway is an American writer and journalist. His works are simple and profound.This unique writing style has had a profound impact on twentieth century novels as well as his adventurous life and public image. He won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1954.Many of his works are classics in American literature.In the history of modern American literature, Hemingway and Bellow are generally regarded as influential writers.Although they created at different times, they all attached great importance to the theme of human existence and appeared repeatedly in their works, such as Bellow's Henderson the Rain King and Hemingway's the Snow of Kilimanjaro.The two books also reflect the two authors' different attitudes to the problem.This article emphasizes the importance of the spirit in human survival, life needs to have spiritual support.If the pillar is lost, it will be like death, pointless.Even if death comes one day, the heart has a pillar, hidden in the meaning of life in death.This paper is divided into five parts.The first chapter, on the previous comments on Saul Bellow and Henderson the Rain King, Ernest Hemingway and the Snow of Kilimanjaro, as well as the influence of various philosophical thoughts on Bellow and Hemingway.A comparative analysis of the problem of identity building faced by Harry and Henderson shows the similarities and differences between the two. Chapter three discusses the reasons for Henderson's success.It includes Henderson's successful transformation from an idealist to a realist, a new understanding of love, and the author's personal experience. Chapter four focuses on the reasons for Harry's failure.Mainly from Harry's idealism, individualism and nihilism, and from his negative attitude to death, and from Hemingway's personal experience.This paper draws this conclusion: when faced with the same problem, the two protagonists take the same approach, but have different endings, which also reveals that they have fundamental differences in the attitude of human existence.As a writer, although Hemingway's influence on Bellow as a father's writer and the way of innovation different from his parents' writers, it also reflects the different values of life between the two writers.
