“景觀”(Spectacle)概念研究

【摘要】:自20世紀60年代以來,隨著居伊德波(Guy Debord《)景觀社會(》The Societyof the Spectacle)的發(fā)表,Spectacle概念被越來越多的人熟知和使用,尤其是20世紀的許多理論家常常將其與社會意識形態(tài)聯(lián)系在一起,使得Spectacle成為當代一個非常重要的概念。 確切地說,Spectacle已經(jīng)存在于語言中好幾個世紀,它第一次出現(xiàn)在英語中是14世紀,是從古法語中借來的詞匯,可追溯的最早詞源是拉丁文,再往前還可追溯到它的原始印歐詞根。 從后世翻譯的亞里士多德的《詩學》中可以追查到,Spectacle對應(yīng)的希臘原文是Opsis,這是亞里士多德悲劇理論中一個非常重要的概念,,也是英語中Spectacle一詞的語義來源之一。 拉丁文詞匯Spectaculum是Spectacle最主要的詞形和詞義的來源,在古羅馬著名演說家西塞羅的許多著作中,以及古羅馬著名歷史學家提圖斯李維寫作的《羅馬史》中多次用到Spectaculum。據(jù)考證,Spectaculum中的許多意涵仍然保留至今。 隨著時間的發(fā)展, Spectacle成為17世紀英國戲劇中的一個重要概念,與Theatre和Drama有著密切的聯(lián)系,并且其指涉的意涵也發(fā)生了重大的變化,指涉的內(nèi)容變得多樣化,包括了低俗文化和高雅文化。 20世紀,隨著工業(yè)的發(fā)展和媒體的出現(xiàn),Spectacle的概念變得越來越復雜,可以統(tǒng)一并闡釋眾多不同的現(xiàn)象。某種程度上,它直接指涉的是媒介與消費社會。人們?nèi)粘I钪械南M與娛樂被越來越多的廣告和商業(yè)化的媒介要求所控制,娛樂變成了Spectacle的主導模式,此時的Spectacle已經(jīng)不僅僅是一種現(xiàn)象,而成為以形象為中介的人與人之間的社會關(guān)系。 本文從以上幾個方面分析了Spectacle概念,企圖通過探討Spectacle這一詞匯的發(fā)展變化,從中窺探出社會歷史文化的發(fā)展過程。
[Abstract]:Since 1960s, with the publication of Guy Debord < The Societyof the Spectacle. The concept of Spectacle is known and used by more and more people, especially in 20th century, many theorists often associate it with social ideology. Make Spectacle a very important concept in the present age. Exactly speaking, Spectacle has existed in the language for centuries. It first appeared in English in 14th century and is a borrowed word from Old French. The earliest etymology can be traced back to Latin. It can be traced back to its original Indo-European roots. It can be traced from Aristotle's Poetics that the original Greek text corresponding to Spectacle is Opsis, which is a very important concept in Aristotle's tragedy theory. It is also one of the semantic sources of the word Spectacle in English. The Latin word Spectaculum is the main source of Spectacle's forms and meanings in many of the works of Cicero, the famous Roman orator. And the famous ancient Roman historian Titus Levy used Spectaculum many times in the History of Rome. It has been proved that many of the meanings in Spectaculum are still preserved today. With the development of time, Spectacle became an important concept in English drama in 17th century, which was closely related to Theatre and Drama. And its implication has also undergone a major change, referring to the content of diversification, including vulgar culture and elegant culture. In 20th century, with the development of industry and the emergence of the media, the concept of Spectacle became more and more complex, can unify and explain many different phenomena. To some extent. It refers directly to the media and consumer society. The consumption and entertainment in people's daily life are controlled by more and more advertisements and commercial media requirements. Entertainment has become the dominant mode of Spectacle. At this time, Spectacle has become not only a phenomenon, but also a social relationship between people mediated by image. This paper analyzes the concept of Spectacle from the above aspects, and attempts to explore the development process of social history and culture through discussing the development and change of the term "Spectacle".
