【摘要】：興起于二十世紀(jì)七十年代的西方翻譯研究的“文化轉(zhuǎn)向”,不僅為翻譯研究帶來了新的研究方法和研究角度,同樣也為八十年代系統(tǒng)的譯者的主體性研究拉開了序幕。從此之后,越來越多的學(xué)者開始關(guān)注翻譯過程中譯者主體性的研究。在國內(nèi),同樣越來越多的學(xué)者開始關(guān)注譯者在翻譯過程中的主體地位和主導(dǎo)作用,許多關(guān)于譯者在翻譯過程中作用的翻譯理論開始涌現(xiàn)。在這些理論中,清華大學(xué)胡庚申教授提出的翻譯適應(yīng)選擇論是著名和系統(tǒng)的理論。它的出現(xiàn),從譯者在對翻譯環(huán)境的適應(yīng)和選擇的角度出發(fā),不僅為研究譯者在翻譯過程中作用的提供了全新的綜合性的方法,而且還提出了以譯作整體適應(yīng)選擇度為核心的全面的譯評標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。作為一個全新的翻譯理論,翻譯適應(yīng)選擇論以達(dá)爾文的生物進(jìn)化論為哲學(xué)理論依據(jù),以“適應(yīng)”和“選擇”為核心來探索譯者在翻譯過程的不同階段中的“選擇性適應(yīng)”和“適應(yīng)性選擇”。根據(jù)翻譯適應(yīng)選擇論的核心概念“適者生存”與“自然選擇”判斷,為了讓自己的譯作有一個較高的整體適應(yīng)選擇度并且能夠適應(yīng)現(xiàn)實的“翻譯生態(tài)環(huán)境”,經(jīng)受時代、時間和目標(biāo)讀者的“自然選擇”而得以“生存”,作為翻譯主體的譯者,翻譯過程的不同階段中,充分發(fā)揮自己的主觀能動性,積極進(jìn)行選擇性適應(yīng)和適應(yīng)性選擇。本論文從翻譯適應(yīng)選擇論的角度研究董樂山翻譯的《西行漫記》,分析董樂山譯《西行漫記》中體現(xiàn)出的譯者在翻譯生態(tài)環(huán)境中的適應(yīng)和選擇,并且在此基礎(chǔ)上對董樂山翻譯的《西行漫記》的整體適應(yīng)選擇度進(jìn)行評價。首先,本文描述了董樂山具體所處的翻譯生態(tài)環(huán)境,并且從董樂山的需求和能力方面分析了董樂山是如何適應(yīng)現(xiàn)實的翻譯生態(tài)環(huán)境的。然后又從語言,文化,交際三個維度對董樂山在翻譯過程中所做的選擇進(jìn)行了具體的分析。最后根據(jù)翻譯適應(yīng)選擇論的譯評標(biāo)準(zhǔn),對董樂山翻譯的《西行漫記》的整體適應(yīng)選擇度進(jìn)行評價�？偟膩碚f,由于董樂山在翻譯過程中的不同階段的恰當(dāng)?shù)倪x擇和適應(yīng),董樂山翻譯的《西行漫記》是一部有較高整體適應(yīng)選擇度的成功的翻譯作品。此外,本文還驗證了適應(yīng)選擇論是一個可以用來解釋具體翻譯現(xiàn)象和翻譯活動的強有力的翻譯理論。
