【摘要】：《朝花夕拾》是我國(guó)著名作家魯迅所著的一部散文集,他在書(shū)中描述了自己童年和青年時(shí)期的經(jīng)歷,為讀者展示了當(dāng)時(shí)的風(fēng)土人情和社會(huì)風(fēng)貌,是一部極具文化特色的文學(xué)作品。書(shū)中有大量具有中國(guó)文化內(nèi)涵的詞匯。根據(jù)奈達(dá)對(duì)文化因素的分類,本文將《朝花夕拾》中的文化負(fù)載詞分成生態(tài)文化負(fù)載詞,物質(zhì)文化負(fù)載詞,社會(huì)文化負(fù)載詞,宗教文化負(fù)載詞和語(yǔ)言文化負(fù)載詞等五類。準(zhǔn)確通順地翻譯這部作品中的文化負(fù)載詞,向外國(guó)讀者展示原汁原味的中華文化對(duì)譯者來(lái)說(shuō)是一個(gè)很大的挑戰(zhàn)。本文以楊憲益夫婦的英譯本為研究對(duì)象,從關(guān)聯(lián)理論視角分析《朝花夕拾》中文化負(fù)載詞的翻譯,探討楊憲益夫婦在翻譯這部散文集中的文化負(fù)載詞時(shí)是如何忠實(shí)傳達(dá)作者意圖、實(shí)現(xiàn)最佳關(guān)聯(lián)的。關(guān)聯(lián)理論是認(rèn)知語(yǔ)用學(xué)理論的重要組成部分,其核心問(wèn)題是語(yǔ)言交際與認(rèn)知,核心概念是關(guān)聯(lián)性,目的是識(shí)別存在于人類心理的內(nèi)在機(jī)制,從而解釋人類交際的方式。翻譯作為一種跨語(yǔ)言、跨文化的交際行為,也遵循交際行為的一般原則。因此,關(guān)聯(lián)理論可以為翻譯研究提供一個(gè)有指導(dǎo)性的理論框架,并對(duì)翻譯實(shí)踐有著較強(qiáng)的解釋力。本文通過(guò)實(shí)例分析,總結(jié)楊憲益夫婦翻譯這部散文集中的文化負(fù)載詞所采用的翻譯方法,探討這些方法是如何使得楊譯本實(shí)現(xiàn)最佳關(guān)聯(lián)的。首先,本文根據(jù)韋努蒂關(guān)于文化翻譯的論述,將楊譯本中所采用的翻譯策略歸類為歸化翻譯和異化翻譯兩種策略;然后,再通過(guò)具體的例證,探討楊憲益夫婦如何通過(guò)采取直譯、意譯、替代、音譯等翻譯方法來(lái)傳達(dá)作者的意圖,同時(shí)將文化負(fù)載詞中文化內(nèi)涵順利傳達(dá)給目的語(yǔ)讀者,從而擴(kuò)大他們的認(rèn)知環(huán)境。文章由此得出結(jié)論:楊憲益夫婦對(duì)散文集中文化負(fù)載詞的翻譯很好地體現(xiàn)了“最佳關(guān)聯(lián)性”原則。他們充分理解了原文中文化負(fù)載詞所包含的文化內(nèi)涵,同時(shí)準(zhǔn)確地把握了原文作者的意圖。在此基礎(chǔ)上,楊憲益夫婦充分考慮目的語(yǔ)讀者的認(rèn)知環(huán)境和接受能力,選取了恰當(dāng)?shù)姆g策略以及相應(yīng)的翻譯方法。最終,他們成功地節(jié)省了目的語(yǔ)讀者的推理努力,將原作者的意圖以及燦爛的中華文化順利傳達(dá)給了目的語(yǔ)讀者。
