語(yǔ)境對(duì)文學(xué)文本的理解至關(guān)重要。與實(shí)用類(lèi)文本不同,文學(xué)文本的理解高度依賴(lài)語(yǔ)境,文化交流借此免于時(shí)間距離和文化差異的限制。較之科學(xué)語(yǔ)言,文學(xué)文本及其譯本的語(yǔ)言帶有模糊性。歷史事件,回憶以及聯(lián)想在其中隨處可見(jiàn)。但是,這種十分含蓄的語(yǔ)言中潛含的意義的不確定性和難以言明的感覺(jué),對(duì)譯者而言卻是一種阻礙。在處理這類(lèi)文本時(shí),譯者可以運(yùn)用韓禮德的語(yǔ)境理論,有效合理地縮小詞義范圍,產(chǎn)出地道的譯文。因此,本文將在韓禮德語(yǔ)境理論的指導(dǎo)下,從語(yǔ)言語(yǔ)境,情景語(yǔ)境以及文化語(yǔ)境三個(gè)方面闡釋文學(xué)文本翻譯中語(yǔ)境理論的運(yùn)用,并通過(guò)大量實(shí)例論證這些策略的有效性,以期為相似文本的翻譯提供參考。
