繼2012年莫言獲得諾貝爾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)后,《蛙》是其在海外市場出版的第一部小說,也是美國翻譯家葛浩文最近期翻譯及出版的小說。由于這部作品的新近出版,目前國內(nèi)外對(duì)其的研究相對(duì)空缺,這就極大增加了文本的研究價(jià)值。本文通過對(duì)莫言《蛙》的葛浩文英譯本的個(gè)案分析,運(yùn)用安德烈·勒菲弗爾的操縱理論解讀該英譯本后隱藏的操縱因素。安德烈·勒菲弗爾認(rèn)為翻譯是一種改寫,而改寫則是一種操縱。意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩學(xué)、贊助人為三大操縱因素。因此本文將文本放在特定的社會(huì)、歷史、文化和政治背景中,解讀上述三大操縱因素在葛浩文的《蛙》英譯本中所發(fā)揮的作用。論文分為五個(gè)章節(jié)。第一章為引言,介紹總體概況,涵蓋了文本介紹、理論概述、國內(nèi)外研究現(xiàn)狀以及研究意義、研究方法和文本布局。第二章主要分析意識(shí)形態(tài)是如何操縱著文本選擇和譯者主體性,將文本置身于社會(huì)系統(tǒng)中,分析美國對(duì)中國意識(shí)形態(tài)的改變,指出譯者在翻譯的過程中會(huì)受到意識(shí)形態(tài)的操縱,使得翻譯文本更加符合讀者所處社會(huì)的意識(shí)形態(tài)。第三章研究主流詩學(xué)對(duì)文本選擇、翻譯策略和語言風(fēng)格的操縱,譯者受到操縱選取《蛙》這一符合美國主流詩學(xué)的文本作為對(duì)象并采取特定的翻譯策略及方法使得譯文更為目的語讀者所接受。...
