本文是一篇以書信文本為源文本的英漢翻譯實踐報告,翻譯材料節(jié)選自《塞繆爾·約翰遜書信集》�！度姞枴ぜs翰遜書信集》無疑是能夠反映這位18世紀(jì)英國文壇領(lǐng)袖——塞繆爾·約翰遜真實生活狀況和生活細(xì)節(jié)最有力的證據(jù)之一。本文作者選取了《塞繆爾·約翰遜書信集》(第二卷)中的前43封信進(jìn)行翻譯,以耶夫·維索爾倫(Jef Verschueren)的語言順應(yīng)論作為指導(dǎo)此次翻譯實踐的理論依據(jù)。在耶夫·維索爾倫(Jef Verschueren)的語言順應(yīng)論基礎(chǔ)上,本文主要從語境關(guān)系順應(yīng)、結(jié)構(gòu)順應(yīng)、順應(yīng)的動態(tài)性和順應(yīng)過程的意識突顯四個角度出發(fā),對翻譯過程中的具體案例進(jìn)行分析。本文重點(diǎn)探討如何在語言順應(yīng)論視角下,采用具體的翻譯方法和技巧來做到準(zhǔn)確而充分地傳達(dá)原文信息,努力再現(xiàn)原文的語氣、情感和風(fēng)格,同時確保譯文的可讀性,達(dá)到交際意圖。通過本次實踐,本文希望探索語言順應(yīng)論在《塞繆爾·約翰遜書信集》(第二卷)中的適用性,以期為以后類似文本的翻譯提供有價值的參考。
