本文是《死亡:我的回憶》一書的翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告。本篇報(bào)告中所用的翻譯材料是由澳大利亞知名女作家科瑞·泰勒所著,并于2016年出版。書中主要講述了作者自己不幸罹患了黑色素瘤,將治療期間的所思所想記錄在冊(cè),并深刻挖掘體會(huì)生命的意義。文中暗含壓迫與反抗的主題。通過(guò)作者親身經(jīng)歷,將生命與死亡的意義娓娓道來(lái)�！端劳�:我的回憶》是一部回憶錄,屬傳記類文學(xué)作品,其讀者群是普通大眾,閱讀目的在于教化和消遣。因而其語(yǔ)言平實(shí),易懂;而譯文也應(yīng)該體現(xiàn)出其獨(dú)特的文學(xué)魅力。本報(bào)告簡(jiǎn)要介紹了作品和原文作者的生平,闡述了譯者的譯前準(zhǔn)備、翻譯進(jìn)度安排以及譯文質(zhì)量管理工作等。在本次翻譯實(shí)踐中,譯者主要依據(jù)萊思的文本類型理論,而采用直譯的方法來(lái)翻譯詞匯。而在語(yǔ)法層面上,鑒于英漢語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu)的不同,對(duì)被動(dòng)句,存在句進(jìn)行了實(shí)例探討,采用了順譯法和倒譯法等翻譯技巧,以期達(dá)到亞歷山大·弗雷澤·泰特勒的翻譯三原則的翻譯標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。譯者希望通過(guò)本次翻譯能夠更好地認(rèn)識(shí)到傳記文學(xué)的語(yǔ)言和文體特征,以期本報(bào)告對(duì)同類型文本的翻譯實(shí)踐提供參考。
