《紅高粱家族》英譯本中的中國文化形象重塑研究

《紅高粱家族》作為國內(nèi)首位諾貝爾文學(xué)獎獲得者莫言的代表作,描繪了抗日戰(zhàn)爭時期東北高密鄉(xiāng)人民的故事,大量的中國文化元素呈現(xiàn)其中。該小說英譯本也成為研究熱點,國外學(xué)者多注重研究譯作本身的文學(xué)和社會價值,國內(nèi)學(xué)者的研究范圍稍廣,包含翻譯策略和方法、翻譯理論、翻譯倫理、文化翻譯、譯者主體性及翻譯的社會學(xué)研究等諸多層面。但國內(nèi)外學(xué)者對其翻譯過程中的形象重塑研究較少,需進(jìn)一步豐富完善。本研究以比較文學(xué)形象學(xué)為理論框架,以小說《紅高粱家族》及葛浩文英譯本中的28對典型譯例(中英文對照)為語料,試圖回答以下三個研究問題:(1)《紅高粱家族》原文中塑造了哪些中國文化形象?(2)譯者如何通過翻譯重塑原文中的中國文化形象?(3)影響譯者重塑形象的因素有哪些?作者首先分析總結(jié)了《紅高粱家族》原文中的中國文化形象。然后運用形象學(xué)研究方法,即文本內(nèi)部分析和文本外部分析對所選譯例進(jìn)行剖釋。文本內(nèi)部分析包含詞匯、等級關(guān)系、情節(jié)三個層面,闡述了形象重塑過程中譯者使用的翻譯策略及方法。文本外部分析包括社會集體想象物和譯者主觀因素兩方面,探析了影響譯者重塑形象的社會文化因素。研究發(fā)現(xiàn):(1)莫言在《紅高粱家族》中刻畫了包含...
