《白鹿原》是中國當(dāng)代作家陳忠實創(chuàng)作的一部家喻戶曉的小說,這部小說的成功離不開田小娥這一悲劇女性形象的成功創(chuàng)作。《德伯家的苔絲》是英國作家托馬斯·哈代最具代表性的作品,問世至今,女主人公苔絲的悲慘命運(yùn)一直牽動著讀者的心。許多學(xué)者都曾對這兩位女主人公的悲慘命運(yùn)做過單獨(dú)研究,但這兩個女主人公的悲劇對比研究卻從沒出現(xiàn)過。雖然田小娥和苔絲生活在不同的時代、不同的國家,但無論是在人物性格和悲劇命運(yùn)方面她們都有著極大的相似性。立足于馬克思主義女性主義,本文對《白鹿原》中的田小娥和《的伯家的苔絲》中的苔絲的悲慘命運(yùn)和不幸遭遇進(jìn)行了對比分析,從社會地位和經(jīng)濟(jì)地位的低下、父權(quán)社會帶來的傷害和她們各自的性格這三方面探求了她們悲劇命運(yùn)的成因。通過對這兩部小說的對比研究發(fā)現(xiàn),雖然田小娥和苔絲生活在不同的時代和不同的社會,但是她們都遭受著父權(quán)社會嚴(yán)重的壓迫。她們的悲劇成因主要來自于三個方面。首先,低下的社會地位和經(jīng)濟(jì)不獨(dú)立注定了她們的悲慘命運(yùn)。其次,父權(quán)社會也給這兩位女主人公帶來了壓迫,成為她們悲劇的有力推手。最后,這兩位女主人公的性格也是造成她們悲劇成因的重要因素之一。通過對《白鹿原》中田小娥和《德伯家的苔絲》...
